Psalm 82: The Divine Council of the Gods, The Judgment of the Watchers and the Inheritance of the Nations (Chronicles of the Nephilim)
G**.
This book is really helpful in understanding the Spiritual world.
Brian does a good job of simply explaining "behind the scenes" about the Watchers, or Spiritual powers that ruled our world. He studied under Michael Heisner, a respected leader in this area, and passes along his knowledge. I found this book easy to read, as Brian will repeat himself in subsequent chapters. In other books I may have found it redundant, but here, with the complexity of the material, I was appreciative of it, so that I didn't have to try to go back and find it.I've read and studied the Bible informally for many years, but Michael and Brian really opened my eyes in ways no other scholars have. I look forward to continuing to grow through both of their materials.

I love Brian Godawa!!! CONCISE AND POWERFUL book..
I love Brian Godawa!!! This guy is the right fellow to take on Psalm 62. Godawa gives another powerful layer of meaning to the off cited biblical phrase about Lucifer is "full of wrath for he knows his time is short". As in he will lose his immortality and perish just like us mere mortals. Up to now, Lucifer did as he pleased marshaling all his knowledge and power afflicting humans from age to age. In each new age he added new knowledge, skills and devices to become an ever increasing adversary to us 'Peeps.' But now he is made mortal by God who's host slays these fallen angels freeing mankind. And also frees students of the bible of the nasty pitfall of dualitism.

Makes a lot of sense but...
There were some points that gave me pause. Most of what he purports in this book is not what I was taught to believe, but it makes a lot of sense to me, and aligns better with scripture than what I was taught. This book is the non-fiction accompaniment to his novels, Chronicles of the Nephilim, Chronicles of the Apocalypse, and Chronicles of the Watchers. He makes a case that Revelation was fully fulfilled in the first century, which I don't agree with. I think it was ONE fulfillment of it. He also says that the Watchers were destroyed in the first century, at the culmination of the Old Covenent, when the temple was destroyed. At first I disagreed strongly with what he seemed to be asserting, but by the end, after he explained everything, I felt like it pretty much all made sense, save a couple details. I've read that Nephilim and the Apocalypse Chronicles, all of which were quite eye opening and made for a pretty big paradigm shift for me. This book does the same.

Opened My Eyes
I have been on a mission to learn as much as possible about the Nephilim and the Watchers for several months. I have read a few other books and studied the Bible alongside these books. This book brought me more in depth with Scripture than I had expected, and delighted me in the process.I was raised in Christianity, but realized years ago that I was taught very little of the history of Gods plan and how ancient Biblical history truly lead us to our current state. So much of the Bible had confused me. I was able to see why with just a single passage in this book. “We must stop imposing our categories of modern convents onto the Bible, and try to interpret the text within the ancient Hebrew paradigm. “ This was a bolt of lightning to my perception of Scripture. Each chapter allows questions to be answered in a way that is not only filled with Scriptural references but also original language examples and explanations. I would love to learn Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. To be honest, I’m more likely to not.I highly recommend this book. It is my first Brian Godawa book, but I am about to open my second, and already have a third on my shelf.

Good analysis of Psalm 82 , plus 30 AD to 70 AD incites.
Not all will agree with the eschatology presented in the book, however, this is definitely worth a listen and/or read to expand one's knowledge of the Psalms 82 & 32 biblical worldview.

Mind Opening
After reading this book, I won't probably read the Bible in the same mindset as before, for it expands on the topic of the heavenly host seen all throughout the Bible. I've listened to Michael S. Heiser talk on the topic (though I'm a visual learner and not so much a listener), so I want to read his books next, but this short book it's like the intro to me in this topic.I found the language easy to understand, and easy to follow. Nonetheless, albeit I had read some commentaries before reading the book, I too find it somewhat doubtful at the end. I'm not going to say is all wrong neither right. I need to further investigate that about "the old times" and research in order for me to shed light on these things the author said. It was nice reading it though.

Filling in the blanks.
I have given this book 5 stars even though I would see some things slightly different theologically than the author, it has opened my eyes and understanding while setting my feet on a new path of investigation. Our misunderstanding of heavenly realities is the cause of bad theology, this book helps clear some of this up. If we pondered for a moment that "war" broke out in the heavenly arena, it would unsettle most peoples theology.I'm buying the book "the unseen realm" by this author to see what else he can excite me with, the area of the heavens and what happened at Christ's resurrection etc is where my feet have been heading for a long time now. Buy this book, you will be given good food for thought.

The Biblical Unseen Realm Summarized
This is a good summation of the Divine Council worldview as put forward by such scholars as Michael Heiser, who is referrenced extensively herein. Heiser's book "Unseen Realm" has a shorter counterpart, "Supernatural;" but if you are looking for something even shorter than that, this is a great option. It's a good one to lend to people.

How God’s plan for man is played ou.
This is a very intriguing book. Well researched and written. Not your traditional view of ire of how the plan of God plays out. Will provoke you to think and possibly change your view on Christi’s Victor. Most excellent book. Highly recommend it
