Incredible Affordable Rower
I was hesitant to purchase this rower because I had never heard of Circuit Fitness and there were relatively few reviews. However, some of the positive reviews were so thorough that I took the chance. I'm glad I did. Everything about this rower is amazing. If the length of this is daunting, here's the TLDR version: It is well packaged and arrives safely. It is very simple to assemble, even if you're doing it solo. It is easy to lift and move with the wheels, even when the water tank is full. It is a good quality rower in every aspect - the workout you get, the seat, the footrests, the overall sturdiness. The only sound is a gentle water sloshing sound.Packaging and Shipping: I have never ordered something this large online before and was worried about how it would arrive. The packaging is designed to protect it very well. The box is reinforced and there is cardboard and foam holding everything securely in it's place. It arrived in pristine condition. Its shipping weight is over 100 lbs, so I made sure I was home so I could tip our delivery guy.Assembling: I am a seasoned DIY-er and wasn't too worried about this. But ANYONE could put this together. Not only is it really simple, but the directions are clear and the hardware is shrink wrapped into sections for each step. It's amazing. I am 5'2" and while I used to lift weights often, I am recovering from an illness that is pretty much making me start from scratch. Even so, I was able to assemble this by myself with no issues, after I got help carrying it into the basement, which was definitely a two person job. There is one part where you have to stand it vertically, so I used a few dumbbells to stabilize it since I was solo. All the tools required are included.Moving the rower: As I said, I'm 5'2". This thing is way taller than me when it's stood up. However I can very easily lift up the back end and get it an angle where it is easy to roll on the wheels, even when the water tank is filled. After I assembled and filled the rower, I got new puzzle mat flooring for my home gym (I did this in the wrong order - I know!). I had to lift this and roll it out of the way about 3 times, and it was easy to do.Using the rower: My previous experience with rowers includes a Concept 2 at my current gym and the water rowers from Orange Theory. I'm not a seasoned rower or fitness expert, but I did have high expectations based on past experience. This rower fits the bill. The resistance I get from the water rower feels good. The way to get more resistance is to work harder. You can adjust the water level to change resistance, but that is not a quick thing. I filled the tank all the way. There is also an adjustable bungee on the underside. The seat slides smoothly on the slide rail, and has a nice soft stop thanks to rubber stoppers on the front and back. The foot rests, which appear to be a contentious issue, are perfectly fine for me. I wear a women's size 8 shoe, and I wear my Brooks running shoes when I row. The straps hold my feet in well, and I don't have any issues the positioning. The strap is slightly higher on my foot than when I use a rower with adjustable footrests, but it doesn't cause a difference in how it feels when I'm rowing. The straps are solid and don't loosen as I row. I did try to row barefoot once after doing yoga, and that was supremely uncomfortable, but putting shoes on is an easy fix. The whole rower feels very sturdy when I'm rowing, although I'm not a very powerful or fast rower. Based on my partner trying it out, who is 5'8" and 180 lbs, this remains sturdy for larger bodies.Noise: I never realized how peaceful the sound of a water rower is. If you have ever been to an Orange Theory, you know it's like a fitness night club cult vibe - dim lights, loud music, overly happy trainers yelling at you. I had no idea that underneath all that noise was a peaceful water noise. Whether I am listening to music or watching TV, I don't have to turn it up any louder than normal listening volume to hear it when I am rowing. In conclusion, I am very pleased with the rower I got, for a price that is low enough for me to feel like I got a great deal. I expect this rower to be part of my home gym for years to come, even as I update some of the other cheaper/second hand items I started off with. I would recommend this 100%.

Foot cradles need to be modified.
As an independent fitness contractor (Personal Trainer) evaluating cost effective fitness modalities is a frequent occurrence for me. When evaluating cardio equipment, perhaps cost alone is a primary variable that must be considered for most fitness enthusiasts. Based upon extensive experience with other much more expensive rowers, with all sorts of electronics, this rowing machine is the best I have found for the money spent. It is easy to assemble, and offers excellent craftsmanship based upon the hardware and welds observed. Yes, it is bare bones, but I find that eliminating all the electronic nonsense allows for better client focus. Too many graphs and charts that look pretty, but don’t necessarily translate into quality workouts for enthusiasts. If that’s your thing then there are plenty of rowers that cost $$$-$$$$, but won’t guarantee a good workout for all of the technology. This is not an easy to adjust resistance rower. The resistance is a function of how much H2O is in the tank. So, if you’re looking for changing resistance on the fly…forget it.My only real complaint (hence four stars) is that the foot cradles are way too restrictive for one’s heel; take a look at the Concept II rowing machine foot cradles for ideas on how to modify. Since performing the needed modifications I am now totally satisfied with this device’s performance. Also, the Velcro foot retention straps are totally inadequate and need to be upgraded. I replaced the OEM foot straps with those found in any Home Depot/ Lowe’s…problem solved. So, there are some really expensive rowing machines that are great right out of the box. This one needs a little massaging on the foot cradles, but for the basic fitness enthusiast, it works quite well for a lot less money with fewer components that are prone to failure. So, this is a fine, uncomplicated piece of equipment, but don’t expect it to motivate, or do your workouts for you. Expensive fitness equipment is often a matter of ego, equipped with plenty of „features“ that offer little, if any, benefit toward a sustainable adaptive response. Save your money and purchase that which works rather than that which impresses without substance and produces the same results.

Nice after a cheap fix
At first the rower was unusable like everyone else, my feet just kept popping out, but I ordered 2"×40" velcro straps (see photo) $17 for set of 3 and that fix the issue with my feet slipping out. The each foot pedal has 2 unused slots, one on each side and that is what I run the added velcro through. Runs behind the heal then wrapes around ankle. My shoe size 7.5 womens (photo)Assembly was easy, took about 30-40 minutes, and put 3 gallons distilled water in the tank (no leaks).I took 1 star off because of the computer. If you look around it is used on many diffrent brand rowers. No back light, does not save total meters (saves total strokes), data is deleted when it goes to sleep mode (1.5-2 minutes, what is the point of having a rest button?), everytime you hit pause it takes you back to time mode, if paused and you forget to unpause it does not auto detect and start recording the rowing data. The seat is ok, I have a long history of sciatica pain, and I like to sit on the edge of the seat, after 30-40 minutes I have to stop and stretch. I ordered a gel seat cushion made for Concept rowers (they make 3 different type of cushions) I just ordered that today. What else... it is big takes up alot of room, I store it upright. Clean the track the seat rolls on and also clean the rollers under the seat. Most the time is is very quiet mechine but every once in awhile something gets on the track or on the rollers and makes it noisy or feel bumpy and does not take alot. Also use workout gloves, the handle bar gave me blisters without, I am using full finger gloves. So far After getting the extra velcro I have been using it 6 days a week, 2 times a day and happy with it.

Solidly made and quiet operation
The assembly was not that complicated except it helps if you have your own Allen key and screwdriver. It says you should have 2 people to erect it but if you ignore the part where you have it vertical and just lay it on each side you are fine with just 1 person.Wife is using it and very happy as we have it at the lowest setting with the water.I just do more reps and it gets the job done.I am happy I can watch and hear the TV as it is a quiet machine, just water sloshing around the large bowl.It was £100 more that the one I had my eye on from Argos which was not available so my good luck to find this great product.Had to put felt pads under the feet as they were making a nasty imprint in the carpet so be warned, get some protection if you care for the carpet.

Happy, good product
It was easy to mount and happy with the built quality. The only but is that when I want to go stronger / more intense, there's a click annoying noise from a plastic part. For now it does not interfere with the purpose of the rowing machine but can be annoying

Professionally packaged
My son and I took less than an hour to put it all together and I think the instructions and packaging put Ikea to shame! All the nuts and bolts, tools, put in a shrink wrapped package clearly numbered and labelled. Instructions were very well written and straightforward to follow. Good advice also in the instructions about warming up with some suggested exercises. Son, partner and myself love the whooshing sound as you row. It's early days but I certainly think it's money well spent.

Irish Male 40’s
Easy to put together and very sturdy. It’s very quiet when using. The display monitor is a little dated and can’t be linked to your phone.

Almost Perfect (4.9 Star rating if I could)
Had the product 24 hours no and clocked up 20k on it already!only fault I've found so far is the footstands, don't quite rotate enough as you come forward causing my feet to slip out more often than I would like.Admittidly could be down to poor technique on my side, but its not a problem I have the machines at gym.Otherwise, product arrived a week early, was easy to assemble with simple instructions.Looks and feels of decent quality would reccomend (and have already!)
