Works with my 2000w controller just fine. Ive had 3 and only broke when I had hooked up incorrectly or shorted. Could use directions please or a web link, for first timers, but wire diagrams are all over the web.The balancing is weak or doesn't exist, but if you start out with equal voltage it isn't a problem for awhile. These companies should use a bigger drain resistor for a few pennies more, if that is their balance strategy. Active balancers are available on here that piggyback on this unit at a similar price. Again if you mix old and new cells, imbalance will be a problem and cut your range in half, and cause low voltage cut-offs when accelerating.

There's nothing wrong with this BMS, it's you because you don't want to learn basic electronics. I'm just giving you tough love because no one else will you filthy noob! Go wash those angry thoughts with knowledge! I beat the living **** out of this BMS, pegging it at 40Amps for several minutes, day by day, fully draining the batt pack, speeding through traffic on my custom ebike, and it ran fine. If your battery pack doesn't charge correctly you ******-up your connections or used the wrong charger, selected the wrong BMS voltage or you bought fake batteries. Maybe you got the BMS wet because the PCB is not waterproof. So waterproof it and quit whining. To waterproof a battery pack but also allow it dissipate heat more effectively, I use fiberglass shipping tape to secure the cells together, cover them with polyimide tape which provides a heat resistant barrier to protect the wiring. And for the outer layer, I wrapped it with automotive vinyl wrap because the PVC heat shrink wrap I see people using is overpriced and doesn't fully waterproof the batt pack. To be honest, it's also because I like to break rules just to spite people who keep making everything too complicated, expensive and unreliable. Hey, I still love you but you can't keep doing these shenanigans! Seriously, get some skills. You can get badly hurt messing with lithium ion batteries or burn your house or building down with dead bodies everywhere and all fingers pointed at you. So study up!

I used this to replace a broken controller for an e-bike battery pack I bought from luna cycle who told me the battery couldn't be fixed. My battery pack is working great again.

Does not work. Output is 41.0 volts and battery s output is 54.0 volts. Doesn’t power my controller.

The sellers dimension info is wrong, but you can see the correct dimensions on the pictures, it is a 14s 40amp 48v (54v) battery protection module for charging and apparently with no balance control on discharge and no temperature sensor. It worked fine for my battery with 13s. Didn't connect the 14th wire any where.

Easy enough to install and so far is working the one i got with the battery pack i bought from somebody else failed within 10 hrs of use. So I hope this one one will never fail. Way More Mosffets on this board than my previous
