Fun and lots to do
It has a lot to do, not only making soap and bath bombs but also just science experiments. I think ages 6 and up is appropriate. The only thing I would change is the colors be a little more gender neutral but it’s still fun!

Great interactive gift
My six year old loved this. It turned her gift into an experience that her sisters could participate and spend time with her doing.

Soap kit that includes no scents
It's a soap making kit that makes teensy tinsy soaps and assumes you already have soap making supplies which seems a little ridiculous. I don't appreciate the cost cutting measures of removing any bath soap/bath bomb scents - that's a pretty core component of most soaps, and is pretty unreasonable to just assume the recipient would have them on hand.

Nice looking lab set up
My 8 year old daughter has become interested in making soaps and bath bombs. I picked this kit out for her because we have the other Thames & Kosmos Ooze lab stations and this kit connects to the other bases. The lab station assembly is easy to do. It also includes stickers to decorate the lab base. It does have a nice, sturdy lab station and great quality equipment. There are 4 soap making "experiments". Making melt and pour soap is a craft activity, not a science experiment. My daughter was able to make 13 small bars of soap. And she was able to make 6 small bath bombs. There is no included fragrance. You get a packet of powdered red dye, which is an accident waiting to happen, so we did not use it. Instead, we used food coloring and fragrance oils that I had on handOverall, I don't think the kit is worth the price. I think that the included soap block should have been bigger and more bath bomb mix ingredients should have been included. Including liquid coloring dyes and some fragrance oil would have made this a much nicer kit.

My five year old loves bath bombs. This kit helped me teach her how they are made. We had fun with this activity.

Not great at all
Gifted this to my 7 year old and she didn’t not like it at all. She’s a slime making lover so I thought this would be up her alley. Didn’t enjoy it. The soap was so tiny. Not worth it.

So fun!
This is a great gift. It was a little tricky and involved using some ingredients that are not safe for children to handle. (Eg. Bleach)
