Well designed and obviously thought out. Highly recommended.
I love that despite this house being small, it boasts so many features that I'm not sure we have ever really found them all. From teaching long and short sounds through the door bell, day and night by drawing the screen across the window, big and small/hidden and in view with the birds, to designing every feature with little fingers in mind, this is obviously a well thought out toy.My daughter can sit and play with this for long stretches of time even after owning this for a couple of years. As a result, we often buy this as gifts for other children we know. The carry handle is a great feature too, making it easily portable. Perfect for taking out and about. It does have a function to lower the volume of the sound too, which I'm sure every parent will agree is a must-have!Highly recommended and great value for money considering the use we have had out of this.

Absolutely Brilliant
I bought this for my 10 months old son as a Christmas gift, but ended up giving it to him earlier to cheer him up from the misery of sprouting new teeth. I was pleased with the amount of exploration that could be done on this toy, and spent a while demonstrating the switches and latches. My son soon caught on, and the facility to switch from day to night meant that each activity could be changed to a different outcome, which has meant he hasn't got bored. My five year old daughter was also drawn to this toy, and spends ages playing with it, which was surprising. As ever with Leapfrog, it is good quality and very sturdy, and will easily withstand the brutal manner in which my son (affectionally nicknamed 'Baby Bam-Bam') treats everything he encounters.

Excellent value (with one small criticism!)
I bought this toy predominantly because my son has an obsession with light switches and this toy has a great (and realistic) switch on the side! I've been absolutely amazed at the amount of time he, and my daughter who is a year younger, have spent playing with all the different switches, buttons and sliding pieces that cover the small house. Every time you think you've completed all the responses, you find another one! It plays tunes, teaches opposites, has a prominent switch and a mirror; it's fantastic and well worth every penny! My only criticism (and it is a small one) is that when it tells stories the voices sounds stilted; very much like the voice on the underground that tells you the destination of the train. I can live with that though and the kids couldn't care less!Great value.

brilliant interactive house for all ages
brilliant toy house. my son has had this since he was about 6 months (he's almost 2), and still plays with it regularly, where other toys have fallen by the wayside. The night/morning/lunch mode are very good, and the stories are good fun, my only minor irritation with them being that the script was obviously an American one (read in an English voice), as they mention eating 'biscuits' with spaghetti, which is confusing for a child! There are a lot of activities in a very small package, and my son seems to find a new thing to interest him each month!Absolute bargain price too, we've bought this twice as a gift for friends' children, and it's been a big hit with them.

A great little toy.
Bought this after reading so many good reviews on amazon. I thought it couldn't live up to the hype but 10 month old granddaughter loves it. Along with lift the flap books, this is the only one of her toys that she will spend time playing with. The rest she just has a brief go with before zooming off to something else. She loves the doorbell and the story button and the big and little birds on the roof. She enjoys opening the front door and the fridge and is working at getting the light switch to work. Really good value and something that will be enjoyed for years hopefully. There is so much to do and to listen to.

Excellent learning toy. Opposites, cause and effect, and morning/lunchtime/evening modes
This is a fab house with buttons, switches, clicky dials, slidy bits and opening doors all over it.Depending what mode you select, all the phrases and noises change, so you get to hear something different each time you change the mode (opposites, morning, lunchtime or evening). There are even very short stories when you press the book symbol and little songs relating to the time of day when you turn the lights on or off. The little birds on the roof also talk and sing when you press them. This is great for learning about opposites - open/closed, in/out, up/down, on/off, day/night, big/little, light/dark etc.A great learning toy with huge amounts of interaction. 5 stars.

Good :)
The recipient was happy with it. Although he was 2 so he'd be happy with a box - but you get my point lol

Good interactive electronic toy
Lots of activities to do with this house and it is a portable size (I like the handle aspect). My toddler is getting more interested in it the older he gets as he can activate all the parts to it on his own. There are two modes which help to keep it fresh and none of the sounds have annoyed me yet. I thought it would keep him entertained for longer than it does but maybe this will increase the older he gets.
