A couple of issues to consider but I love them for BOBs, get-home bags, & camping
- Made in China- 100% Lyocell- Says can machine wash but no info on it. I recommend wash cold in a mesh bag, no bleach, gentle, and hang dry- Very strong- Textured so they can scrub some but are still on the soft side- The pkg mentions one of its uses as a mask - this is completely 100% wrong. While the strands are thick, the weave is open. This will afford no protection from anything. Wet, it might help a bit with smoke but "mask" these days makes people think covid and this is not appropriate for anything like thatNote in several of the current listing pix, they show longer towels. In the US we'd think of those as either kitchen or hand towels. Listing info says "large beach towel" and "5oz" and "vacuum seal", none of those are correct. They do have other sizes on Amz so it's likely they reused the text & pix - Vine often gets things early in the listing process so they haven't been finalized yet.The correct info for this product is:Washcloth size, 12" x 12" (does have a small amount of stretch)Weight .2 ozAre not vac sealed but are individually shrink wrappedOf additional interest -- 100% lyocell is biodegradable. in perfect conditions, a matter of a few months- 100% lyocell is also compostable as a brown component. Cut in pieces and mix in- Lyocell is made from trees and plants and its manufacturing uses non-toxic materials, which are then 99% reused instead of discarded- Lyocell is very breathable and can dry fastThese take more water than others of this type but these are much thicker and more durable. One of these took 25 drops of water. That water is retained, though, in the cloth, so it's not wasted. (They don't "bloom" much on their own, but easily unroll). That was enough moisture to very nicely wash my face, neck, arms, and shoulders with much more possible. They absorb very well.IMO, these are excellent for the marketed uh markets (except mask and diaper omg) but are also great for preppers, especially BOBs and get-home bags.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. Great brand, and great towel for camping or travel.
- 12”x12” unfolded sheet that is strong enough for multiple uses.- The material of the fabric is a cotton blend, giving it good strength and absorbancy.- Each sheet is compacted down to a 1” x 1” x 5/8” block and is wrapped in plastic. Each sheet only weighs 9 grams!- Each towel is fairly easy to unfold, but adding a little bit of water helps them loosen up and unravel.- I keep one of these in each of my first aid kits, emergency bags, camping backpacks, and cars. These are perfect for use in an emergency when a strong hand towel is needed.- If you are traveling, camping, etc., take a look at all their towels as they are available in many different sizes… all the way up to beach towel size.- The company, Lightload, has had its products out for years and is a trusted and well-received, and reviewed brand. The above review is for Lightload’s 4 pack of 12”x12” towels.

A great 4 pack of great towels for backpacking
I've been using Lightload towels for a year now on my backpacking trips and this smaller size is really great to have. First off, it weighs only 9 grams on my scale (which matches the specification on the packaging). It packs down super compact before it is soaked, so I can throw one of these into my travel or emergency kits as a backup and not have to worry about how much space it takes. It's extremely absorbent and quick drying, so I can use it to wipe off condensation off my tent in the morning, and quickly wring it out and wipe off some more once the towel is saturated. I also use it to dry my cookware and fill voids in my cook kit in order to reduce rattling while I'm backpacking. The 12"x12" size is just right for what I need in the backcountry.

Tiny! -and that's a good thing
Developed by an AT through-hiker, these are hydraulic-pressed, light-weight towels. They are soft, absorbent, and they do not tear easily. Just wet them a bit, just enough to open them up. Keep a few in your First Aid kit, glove department, emergency grab-and-go bag, dopp kit, PFD (life jacket), and backpack. In fact, these easily qualify as EDC (Every Day Carry) items, so keep one in your pocket! The packaging lists several uses. This is a practical item that everyone ought to have on hand, especially if you're into outdoor activities. I wish I had these on hand when I was in the Army on FTXs (field training exercises). Buy a bunch, they're great!

Somewhere between a paper towel and a wash cloth
This is a pretty niche product. They're super compact for packing. They can be dried and resued. At that point they're not compact as before.Theyre more durable than a paper towel. But easier to tear than a wash cloth. The packaging was easy enough to open. It was sealed tight. No issue of moisture getting in there. To unfold the towel, picking the edge of a pressed layer was all that was needed. It pulled apart into the full size was easy and staright forward.Like the durability, it absorbs between a paper towel and a wash cloth.Overall, great for a packing. Though a bit on the costly side.

Neat Simple and Impossibly Small Towels
They're not kidding, this is just absolutely insane how small these are. Really a world of different uses here, so I won't speculate on what you're using for. We used for camping and emergency uses, so far so good. I think you'll probably want a qty greater than 4 but that's just me. Once they're out of the container, you can re-use but personally I think they work well as single use. Really neat concept though, glad to know these exist.

Buy them only if you have a need for them.
Pros;- They are packed extremely small before first use. They’re about the size of 4 small dice pressed together.- They can absorb more water than a paper towel.Cons:- Once they are open and unfolded, the novelty wears off and they are just thin small towels.
