My street shoe size is 12 and i couldnt fit my foot in the butora. Otherwide shoe seemed very stiff

Amazing shoes. I wear TC pros. I sent them off to get resoled and I ordered these because i have wider feet and hate my spare shoes (skwama's) for the type of climbing I do. These shoes fit more snug on my feet at Size 10 US than TC Pros Size 10 us. With TC pros, I can wear swift wick (really thin socks) with them. With the Alturas it is going to be a tight fit with those socks though I am sure they will expand the more it gets broken in. The shoes are stiff which is what I want in a climbing shoe. If you want a thinner shoe for bouldering this isn't the shoe for you . If you want to do a lot of outdoor climbing (slab, crack, sport, trad) these shoes are very comparative to the TC Pros. I am thankful for Altura in having Wide volume and narrow volume shoes. Butora recommends sizing up a half size for a tighter fit and a full size for a more comfortable fit. My shoe size is technically 9.5 so I sized up to 10 and its perfect. Highly recommend these.1 Month Update: Still love these shoes! They are so great for smearing, for tiny tiny slab foot holds and great for the crack I am projecting. Only complaint I have (small one) is that my heel doesn't sit firmly into the shoe even though the toes are nestled at the top. This causes some shoe fart (basically when I step up there is some excess air because of a tiny space near the heal). Not a huge issue just makes me laugh when I start a route :D. Great shoe
