Fun book with a Twist
What a fun, cute story! Mr. Wobble is so excited when the Farmer tells him he is having some special guests to Thanksgiving dinner this year and for him to prepare to join them. Of course all, as he preens and prepares, all of the other animals hang their heads, feeling very sad for him as they expect him to BE dinner. Everyone is in for a big surprise on Thanksgiving day! Beautiful illustrations and so well written. Perfect for small children but you might want to read it yourself first to be prepared for the ending. Then you will know if it's right for your family! Fun, quick read on either paperback or eBook!5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I received my copy of this book via a free giveaway and have gratefully chosen to review it.

Excellent book!
We just received our book and have read it twice already! Such a fun book to read! And we liked that it had recipes too. We are not vegan but will be trying the platter for Thanksgiving 😁 great book to read with the little ones, the pictures are beautiful and I love how it explains in simple words the meaning of Thanksgiving. If you don't have a copy yet, you should get one, or two or three! It is worth it!

A must read for children that will teach them an important lesson in life.
I loved Gobble Gobble Mr. Wobble. I was holding my breath in the beginning of the book thinking about what was going to happen to Mr. Wobble. Being a huge animal lover, I was so happy with the ending. This book teaches young children a very important lesson to learn in life and, that is, to love animals. Also, I loved, loved the illustrations. The colors in the illustrations will draw the attention of the children. This book is a must read for the young ones.

Vegan message
This book is about a turkey that is invited to the farmer's house for Thanksgiving dinner. All along you suspect that the turkey will be the dinner, but the book tricks you at the end. This story is well written and nicely illustrated. Kids and parents will enjoy the surprise, especially if you espouse the vegan agenda. Recommended for children ages five to ten.

Mr. Wobble is super cute!
This book is super cute. My 6 yo daughter loves Mr. Wobble. I took a star off because of the preachy message at the end. We're vegan, but I think the book would be much more effective without the overt propaganda at the end. Without it, it would get children and parents to consider their food choices, but as some of the reviews show here, that end message will just anger meat-eating parents.

So happy to find this book!!
We are vegetarian and always struggle around Thanksgiving with our son hearing people talk about eating turkey. He is still young and so we don’t want to go into a lot of detail, but still want him to understand why we choose not to have turkey on the table. This was an awesome book to be able to have a compassionate discussion with him about Thanksgiving. A gem of a find for our family!

No thank you on propaganda
So bummed. After reading reviews I was excited for this book, but in the end was a solid no. The parts about the other animals wanting to help the turkey escape were so subtle they required explanation and were lost on my child. Not the worst thing, but....the author is a vegetarian and gives you strong propaganda that seems like a part of the story. Not at all ok. Keep in mind I am someone that was vegan for a short bit and also has gone to the trouble of directly sourcing my meat from a local farm to help control animal treatment. This was after reading several books on food, health, and sourcing. I just do not need my child to be told that meat is bad. He can make his own choices as he gets older, but does not need it in a book about Thanksgiving or any book at all at his age. Education is great, but not in this way. Promptly returned. If you are a hard core vegetarian or vegan maybe this book is for you, but make sure your kids are a bit older for this one due to the subtleties and message. Just to drive the point home, I equate this with buying a book on Santa and it having a part at the end about only believing in Jesus, which by the way I'm a believer.

The story promotes being a vegetarian.
This story is cute but definitely would not read to a small child before Thanksgiving if you expect them to want to eat the Turkey.

Be kind to every kind
Lovely story for friendship and compassion; it’s important to teach our children to love all animals not just those who we share our homes with.

Wonderful book! And I'm not a vegetarian!
Such a cool story to show kids that you don't need to eat meat. Loved the anticipation the illustrations create. My girls loved it.

Funny gobble wobble
My son was in fits of laughter before we even got to reading due to the title. It was amazing and infectious to see him have such a reaction to a book. After he calmed down, we read the book. It was easy to understand and some of the words he knew. He loved it.We bought it through the warehouse so it was a bit tatted but he still loves the book and has it kept on his favourites side.
