I saw a YouTube claiming that part of the reason that Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse’s steaks are so good is that each one gets a ‘dollop’ of ghee as it leaves the kitchen. I haven’t a clue if that’s true but once having been to Ruth’s, I wanted the same when I grill.As it turns out, my wife who eats no dairy doesn’t classify ghee as dairy because it lacks any milk solids or lactose. The latter means that ghee should be all right to eat for those suffering from lactose intolerance. In my case, the steak was the thing.After a few great steaks, it’s my view that if Ruth’s doesn’t use ghee now, it should. The difference in the taste is significant. I’ll throw in hamburgers too as food that from my view, will not hit the plate until it’s been ‘dolloped’ with ghee. This works well in all sorts of other food applications as well. For example, I make scratch popcorn. I used to use coconut oil which is tasteless so the popcorn was all right but not great.Changing to ghee gave the popcorn that buttery taste without having to drench it in melted butter thus avoiding the calories and greasiness of having done that. I never had any luck popping with butter but it works great with ghee. Once we started using this easy storage form of butter, we found one use after another for it.I did some research and after have come to believe that this brand is top quality ghee. This will now be a staple in our home.

The taste quality is outstanding -- you can smell and taste the freshness of the cream from the butter. No other ghee has that freshness, that cream-like taste! It is a lighter yellow color, creamy, doesn't separate, very smooth -- huge quality difference! I even lick it off the knife, contrary to my upbringing. Organic, no GMO, 0 carb, lactose free, 0 protein means no casein or whey. Each jar has a lot number and expiration date. I keep this in the cupboard (not fridge) and it is fine, smooth and creamy. (I don't trust some other ghee's not in the fridge, especially if they separate and go weird.) This will be my only ghee from now on. Glad I bought 2 the first time around!

As someone who usually likes Trader Joe's Ghee, I have to say that I understand what affordable versus cheap is...but it all has to be fresh and there are a few things I'll cook with ghee. I love this brand. It's fresh, clean and cooks well at high temps. The fried egg test (how the whites cook and how hot the product can get without smoking, is clear. The flavor is light and fresh.I will purchase again.

I like the packaging, consistency and look of the product. The only thing lacking (in my opinion) is flavor. Most ghee that I have had in the past has had a buttery flavor and this one is almost tasteless and odorless. For some folks that will be perfect, I just like a little flavor to my ghee and this doesn't have much. Still gave it 4 stars since I realize that the taste is preference and everything else with the product was great.

We have tried a number of other Ghee products but this one is just simply the best out there. The taste, aroma, flavor, thickness and feel ... everything is just perfect. We use it in all of our cooking and spreads that call for butter. Tastes great! Lasts many months with no refrigeration. Packing & everything is great. Highly recommended & we continue to buy it every 1-2 months.

Amazing smell and flavor. Love it. Thank you!Price went from 15.99 in 2021 to now 24.99 in 2023. I understand inflation but this is a steep hike...Sorry, too expensive for us...please consider lowering and we will be happy to buy again

Have tried several different brands and I like this one, because it comes at a reasonable price compared to the quality- good smell and taste, there’s better ones out there, but those are definitely much more expensive.
