Linux Kernel 5+ lets discuss
NOT P-n-Play for Linux kernel 5+; and I will say I,m astounded there is no repo for this, as numberous usb devices on amazon that claim Linux support all use the RealTek platform.in addition, with todays linux world of FLATPAK, driver install should not be necessary.NOTE TO LINUX DEVS of DRIVERS... USE FLATPAK!Wi-FI SIGNAL: about 2 stars and only because the size of this USB device would lead me to believe it would perform better than my built in wireless card. it is on par with by built in one. I get 2 bars its not poor but expect more.TECH SUPPORT: its Ok their website is a labyrinth its nye difficult to find what you want. and their serial number lookup for firmware version is only good for their routers not their USB devices. So I had a very tough time deciding what drivers to use. Additionally once I got the drivers they didn't work, and I had an even worse time figuring out with RealTek Driver folder to use.EASE OF INSTALL: NOPE! Easy is not something I would put in this sentence. Its not plug and play. I am novice-advanced linux user, I can lspci and 'make# ./install' then troubleshoot. This required finding a proper GIT after 3 tries, then CLONED that git to my PC, finally I had to copy the #.ko file to my ./lib library files as the script didn't support it.DOES IT WORK: YES! it now works, until I update my kernel. then it will break and I will need to do this again. And I will have to do this to EVERY device I plug it into, defeating the purpose of USB needs. There is only one device on amazon I know is P-n-P for linux and its 30 bucks so not worth it to me.

It works
No difference with speeds compared to my built in network card on my laptop. I travel a lot and have had issues picking up signal depending on my hotel room so I bought this to improve signal in spotty hotel rooms. It's been working good so far and improved the signal by 1to 2 bars. It was a good buy for less than $20 and it's a TPLink, a brand I've used multiple times. The install was easy, just download the driver online and it works. It's not PlugNPlay like other brands but it wasn't hard installing it.Quick tip: the first time I plugged it in, the LED wasn't turning on so I thought it wasn't working, but after installing the drivers and rebooting the system, it has been working.

Fast when it works, but huge latency spikes and won't stay connected during gaming or streaming
Like other reviews mention for the T4U V3, the adapter is fast when it does, but if you try to do any activity that requires a stable, consistent connection like gaming or video streaming, it'll drop the connection every 4-5 seconds with huge lagspikes. I got a replacement and the second one had the exact same issue, so I ended up returning the item and am back on the hunt for a good, stable USB wifi adapter with low latency.

Well worth the upgrade
While upgrading my whole house's wifi setup, I picked this up for my PC in my basement, which was previously using a TPLink AC600. Changing my router doubled my download speeds on that computer (~9 mbps to ~18 mpbs) and then upgrading to this adapter added another 33% or so (up to ~24 mpbps). Given the very reasonable price for the T4U, I was quite happy with this performance bump.

Works well...
Had some issues while installing for drivers at the start. But it works very well even when I am working downstairs away from the wifi router on the ground floor with multiple walls in between. For the price and great condition of the renewed product, I would defiantly recommend the TP-Link Archer T4U to anyone facing a problem with the inbuilt adapter catching the wifi signels. Thank you.

Works Great
This Wi-fi adapter works great! The reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because it came covered in pet hair and scratches. I ordered a "Renewed" item, and it looks like someone used it for a while, scratched it all up, then returned it. I expected some scratches being a used item, but not that much pet hair ... Works great though

Fast and easy to install.
This is plug and play, and fast with no pay when gaming. It is wide and will block any usb ports next it. It hangs out at a slight downward angle that will stress neurotics like myself. "Is it breaking? No. *Glance* Is it breaking? No."

Excelente calidad
