They work as advertised!
So far we have been very pleased with this manufacturer. They deliver quality products that actual do as they say they will. I can not say the same for their primary competitor (that end in a “y”) who we purchased first from Bass Pro. Which had to be returned with some hassle because they striped right out of their companies mounting plates. Which we had to remove. Very big pain with inflatable. Truly finding in the fishing market you get what you pay for so be wary of “discount” or cheaper products because like to ruin your trip or even just a day out on the water. We have found buy quality products only and not give up our vacation time to save a few dollars.YakAttack products that we have purchased have been worth their pricing. Our recent trip to the Eastern Sierra’s fishing from both an inflatable kayak and 13’ inflatable boat using their rod holders, mighty mounts and flexible bases were perfect. Really recommend the “pro” Omega series for the rod holder for your reels to fit with ease and allow you to secure either while trolling or safe keeping while you untangle your kids line with out concern for your much more expensive rig while distracted.;)For us vacation is hard earned and giving up pay usually to take one, so to not have gear that works is a triple hit. Money wasted on the purchase, monies wasted on vacation time and giving up pay is just not worth it.So, to the reader know I speak from experience because we had that trip on our trail run with all the new products. The trail run for the big Sierra’ summer stay of 2 weeks. For the trail with “Bass Pro” products we not even use the mounting plates because the rod itself with out a fish on pulled them apart from the base flex pads. So for two days on local lake we played pass the rod, while I hooked everyone up and got them set and I had to reel in my own each catch or when help was needed. Which means NOT fun. 🎣Buy those 3 products from YakAttack line if they fit your needs; you won’t be wasting your fun time if you do. Can’t speak to their other gear and products, but based on my experience I’ll be looking at them first when comparing.Sorry wanted to add photos, but Amazon and I can’t work it out.:)

Great but choose hardware carefully.
I have a new inflatable SUP and it has multiple places to mount YakAttack MightMount Switches. It took a while but I finally determined that the bolts for my Aquaglide SUP should be 1/4"-20 X 7/8s. Anything longer could screw down into the inflatable's fabric and might "pop" the SUP. So, I ordered some stainless steel bolts only to find that their head width was too large. The bolt's description on Amazon did not give this important measurement. Hmm? I'll now send these back and I've ordered other bolts that state their heads are .425" wide. These should work. ***One other issue is it has been noted by the mfgr (and also by one or more reviewers here) to NOT use Loctite or similar products. And when I received my MightyMounts, there is a warning. But, I note the language associated with the MightyMount here on the Amazon page HAS NOT been edited and still recommends it. This misinformation should be edited on Amazon to keep someone from making an unnecessary purchase of Loctite. Even worse, missing the warning and using it.

Do not use Loctite!
I had 4 of these on an NRS Kuda inflatable. 3 of the 4 have failed in the same spot. They seem to crack right around the screws. I don't know if I have a bad batch or what, but it seems all of the ones I ordered have a flaw.UPDATE:It turns out I was using Loctite on the fasteners and the Loctite weakened the plastic. YakAttack customer service still replaced the switches. DO NOT USE LOCTITE!!!

Awesome Gear Mount
YakAttack makes a bunch of quality items, and this MightMount is no exception. It's solid and is perfectly suited for mounting my GPS, fishing rod holder, and other items on my kayak (see photos). I installed it for a week long kayaking trip back in 2020 and have been happy with it ever since. I was so pleased with it, that I ordered a second one for my other kayak for an upcoming kayaking trip this year (2022). The included photo shows the MightMount installed on my first kayak with the fishing rod holder and the GPS mount. The photos also show the YakAttack RotoGrip paddle holders (another great product!). I just love YakAttack gear!!

Yak attack mighty mount switch plate
Loved the fact the I didn’t have to drill any new holes in my kayak . This lined up perfectly to the ram mount that held a go pro on my Jackson Coosa Hd. I will be using this for my visa pole

Fits the Vibe Yellowfin w/ aftermarket screws
Holes match about 98-99% on the deck of the Vibe Yellowfin kayak. I used some SS aftermarket screws that were the right length to get it mounted.Solid build, but even though it's thicker plastic, it's still plastic and there's a bit of play, even with the YA might mount. I used it to mount my iPhone for use with my Deeper sonar fishfinder.

Provided screws are too short and popped my inflatable
The media could not be loaded. Bought 2 of these. Was mounting these onto my GoBoat 2.0 Stealth which comes with Mighty Mount Switch Pads already installed. On the first mount, only 2 of the screws were long enough to reach through to the mounting pad underneath and tighten down and 2 were too short. On the 2nd mount, only 3 of 4 were long enough. I thought maybe the threads were messed up on the screws so I removed the mount and just tried screwing the "short screws" into the pad...they screwed in just fine, didn't even tighten them down, and as I removed them, one screw had punctured my GoBoat with a significant leak.GoBoat made it right and sent me a new inflatable base since it couldn't be repaired but this seems like a poor design on the part of the Yakattack Mighty Mount Switch and Pad. Beware during installation that not all screws will be long enough to actually tighten down if you're using the mount pad.

Great tool, but instructions could have been more clear
Once installed I’m very happy with this product. As someone who has never installed something like this, the instructions could have been a little more clear
