Excellent tool
Work first time , easy to use just needs quite a bit of effort, as previous reviews above use anti clockwise for putting belt back on .

Fantastic little tool
I was sceptical about this but took a punt. It made getting the aux belt on my BMW X3 an absolute breeze. A great little tool to have in your arsenal for stretch belts removing the risk of damage to pulleys or belts by having to use other methods. Magnet seemed useless, but the tool still sits nicely on the lip of the pulley and once the belt is on top it’s going nowhere.

Probably the best for the job and price
Used this on a 2014 Renault Clio 1.2 with stretch belts. It's a substantial bit of kit - heavy and sturdy and let me tell you you'll need it - there's no way the plastic tool would have held up to the force needed to pop the belts on. There's a video on the Internet shows you how to use it but it's for the same tool made by someone else... The magnetic part didn't really work - I had to hold it on and use my other hand to turn the pulley with a torque wrench. Oh and my chin to hold the wrench on the nut as I worked it. I had great visions of neatly spinning the wheel whilst this beauty hugged it and popped the belt on nice and straight. Dream on lol. Took a few goes but got there in the end. Recommended.

The magnate is not strong enough to hold it in place.
Did not hold in place due to a weak magnate and kept twisting, when trying to take belt off or put new one on.

Worked well
Worked very well in getting two belts of my range rover. Handy tool to have for future jobs. Can't see any way how a plastic version would stand up to the task.

Don’t buy
Crap waste of money

If it works even once it's worth the money
Arrived quickly, metal looks very rough and is dirty. The cutouts where the magnet is placed is very rough, I can see the metal shavings from the cut on the magnet. But this is all cosmetic, haven't used it yet but if it works then it's worth the cost because stretch belts can be an absolute pig to remove and install by other means.

Rubbish
Magnet not strong enough to stay on crankshaft pulley to do job it should do (so keeps slipping of and you need two pair of hands to hold it on and racket belt on did do job but will not be getting one again
