They are suitable for so-called cold filling at approx. 60 - 80 °C (not suitable for pasteurising, sterilising the so-called preserving in a pot or oven). Since the plastic thermoplastic polyolefins (TPE) used for this is harder at room temperature than ordinary plastics, the lids should only be processed at temperatures of 60 - 80 °C. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to pre-heat the caps in hot water. The empty wide mouth glass bottles are suitable for preserving or storing juice, smoothies, sauces, soups, milk, cream and much more. So the glass bottles can be used e.g. as a milk and juice bottle for the refrigerator, but also for on the go.
