Floral Skull Day of the Dead cookie cutter, 1 piece - Bakerlogy

I really liked this sugar skull. I actually had to alter it a bit by cutting down the sides so that I would have to press as hard and not be able to pull out my material from it. Once I made the sides flush with the impression, it worked like a charm. This is a very nice cutter/embosser, however it feel that it it a bit over priced for what it is.

This cookie cutter is awesome! I have not fully mastered it yet but I swear I will die trying. It is tough to get the cookie dough the right thickness to easily release the dough as well as give a detailed cookie. But when it works it's breath ta-kingly gorgeous. I had visions of making 50 of these for a Day of the Dead party this fall but after 3 days trying I don't know it's feasible. I keep trying but it's so delicate and frustrating and such a time sink I don't know if I can meet the bar. Instead I head quickly for the bar and promise to figure it out next time. love this cutter! It's beautiful. But it's killing me slowly....
