Great product
I've installed these in several of the small boats we manufacture and have had no issues at all. it costs a lot less than similar competing products, it is compact, and it is easy to use. You do need to have a reasonable understanding of 12v electrical systems in order to wire it up properly and you'll likely need the tools/parts to make custom cables on hand. I'll continue using these in the future. As the other reviewer mentioned, it is a relatively small wire connecting the switches, however it is also very short and it is only charging current, not your battery draw. I made new ones because I wanted proper marine heat shrink terminals otherwise the ones that come with it are probably fine. I mounted the two boxes independently because that was necessary on our application, but I have not notice any fit or alignment issues as the other person mentioned.

Low quality link between two switches that don't quite align correctly. You can buy the parts separately for half the price.
The picture is misleading, in that it appears that the parts align well, when there is actually misalignment and odd angles between the two. The electrical link (on the backside between the two switches) is a small gauge wire.Years before this purchase, I ordered the parts separately, and linked them with custom-made terminators. The angles didn't quite match up, and it didn't look as professional as I hoped for. After several years, I decided to replace them with this, which I believed to be a professionally manufactured version. I was disappointed to find that the misalignment was present, and the links were much lower quality than the ones I made myself.
