What a great change from the bigger, bulkier preganacy pillows!
I was extremely excited when this pillow arrived on my doorstep just days after the order was placed! I have another pregnancy pillow that I have been using, but not often enough. My current pillow is one of the HUGE pillows that takes up most of the bed. When I try to sleep with it at night, there is barely any room left for my poor husband to sleep on our queen bed. So it has earned an almost permanent spot on the rocking chair in our room and only gets used when I am by myself. (that is very rare)When I opened the box, the presentation of the pillow was great. It came in its own case which made me happy since it will be easy to fold back up and place it back in there when we end up moving, AGAIN. I won't have to worry about it getting dirty or ripped when we do pack up the house in the future. The fabric that they used on the cover for the pillows is really smooth and doesn't get hot when you curl up with it. Which as most pregnant ladies will know is a godsend with our heat output during the 9 months. There are zippers located on each pillow covering that unzip and zip up easily for removal and replacement when it comes time to clean. I was surprised with the covering of the pillows on the inside too. They feel like a silk covering that may help repel stains and I am sure is what helps with the pillows breathing so nicely. What I have really enjoyed about this pillow: The fact that it has great support for my belly, for some reason whenever I put a normal pillow under my tummy at night I get a lot of Braxton-Hicks contractions. When I snuggled up to this pillow, I had 1-2 Braxton-Hicks at the beginning but as my body settled into position, that all went away. The support for the back was great as well. I love the fact that the pillow that is recommended for the back is so small. My husband was thrilled about it as well. His biggest complaint for all these pregnancy pillows is that is distances him from me. So with this pillow he will still able to partially snuggle up with me and it didn't make him feel secluded.Another great thing about the pillow is, since there is no pillow around the top for my head. I get to adjust the pillow as far up or down my back where I need the extra support or less support. I don't feel smothered by a huge pillow that there is no way to adjust to fit my needs. It also allows room to have my arms out and not fall asleep or be trapped under the pillow, which is what I dislike about my big pregnancy pillow I have.Things I think could improve:The fabric length between the pillows seems a bit too snug. It would probably be great if I didn't have an enormous belly to squeeze in there too. Unfortunately, I do and it makes it so I can't sleep through the full night with the support because I end up so squished. I would love if they made it adjustable to fit you as you grow. For me personally, I can't do extremely fluffy firm pillows between my legs at night, I tend to wake up with back ache. The pillows are fluffy and very firm for all the support, so I make the long end as my back support and the small pillow is reserved just for supporting my stomach. I then us a flatter pillow of my own for extra support between my legs when I need it.Lastly, It is difficult to turn from side to side with this pillow because it is make with a specific front and back. During the night when I want to switch sided I do have to wake up and completely flip the pillow over then re-adjust it. I have not been sleeping well so I have been up for a while after the switch trying to fall back to sleep.I have included a picture to show the size of this pillow compared to my old, bulky pillow. As you can see, This pillow provides support where it needs to without crowding the bed. Overall, I am happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to others! Thanks for reading and happy shopping!

Not bad for back pain
I really wish I'd found this in pregnancy. Instead, I had to deal with the cheaper, less sturdy body pillows. If there are any more babies in my future, I at least come prepared. I got it, however, for my back pain. How does it help there? Well, for my sciatica, it seems to be a little hit and miss, though certainly better than shoving a normal pillow between my knees to sleep.Shipping on this took a little longer, because it's currently not Prime eligible, but that wasn't too big a deal. It did, however, mean I stalked my UPS guy for a little while. I'm sure he loved that. When it arrived, it was in a zippered bag ... without the zipper pull. I had to pry the zipper open. It wasn't difficult, but I was a little sad about it. It was a great little bag and would have been awesome for storage if I'd only been using it for a short-term situation (pregnancy). Fortunately, I wasn't, and likely won't have to deal with the storage situation. So the basic design for this thing is pretty simple: two pillows (one short and one long) connected by a quilted case. By the way, the fabric of the case on this feels HEAVENLY. So soft. The pillows inside are firm enough to be highly supportive, but they are also soft enough to conform to your body so you don't feel like you're sleeping on concrete. I honestly kind of love them.Structurally, I could see a problem if you're super tall, unless you just shove the pillow way down. It's a long pillow, but it's not that long. I prefer it a little lower, anyways, so the bulk of the smaller pillow sits right in the curve in my back, where my back pain tends to start. It also makes flipping over to my other side a little easier. This is where my downfall for the first night came. It was sitting so close to my chest that it was just awkward and made it hard for me to flip over. I almost felt confined, and I got frustrated really quickly. The second night, with my lower pillow placement, it was much easier. However, once you flip away from the larger pillow, there's no support for your legs. The longer pillow bends, but not that much. This is the only part about it that I'm not as fond of. For a pregnancy pillow, this is fine, since you're supposed to be on your left side. For someone like me with babyless back pain, especially a kind where laying in one position for a long period of time gets painful, it could get a little tricky and require you to flip the whole pillow over, which isn't as easy as it would seem, especially if you're back is already hurting. So the more complicated part of pillow ownership is always how to clean them. As far as cleaning goes, it's actually pretty easy. The pillowcase unzips and the pillows come right out. You can wash the case in your washing machine. The pillows can't go in the washer, but they CAN be wiped down with a damp cloth.I'm still getting used to this pillow but every night seems to be getting a little easier, though I have honestly considered cutting the pillows apart as others before me have stated. I suppose I could just put them in different pillow cases, but this one just feels so nice.

Not for full figured people
This pillow comes ready to go as one piece, but you can detach the connector and have one long body pillow and one small pillow. This pillow is very firm and keeps me in place on my side. The down side is as I grow larger there won't be room for my stomach, as I barely fit in the middle pillow connector as it is. If you are a full figured person you will skip the connected pillow right from the start and use the individual pillows (but then, is it really necessary to buy this set?). It's not worth $60...and I'm annoyed I now see it for sale cheaper elsewhere.

Not "the one"
Like other reviews have said, the space between the two pillows is pretty narrow. I haven't been able to sleep with them hooked together without it hurting my back. I keep having high hopes that I will sew a wider connector, but that's really unlikely to happen. Instead, I've just disconnected the two pillows and am using them separately - one behind my back, the other between my knees. The description also comments on how the pillows won't loose shape - this is not at all true! I've been using the longer pillow for my legs for about 3 months now and it's definitely lost fluff in the middle. I don't think that it will last through my entire pregnancy.I wish there were a good pregnancy pillow option that would provide the support of the Snoogle, without having to use the head piece! I want to be able to use my own head pillow!
