Yes, these are men's shoes and yes I am a woman. I had been looking for a pair of canvas slip-ons in this style for some time. My problems were always two fold - most shoes in this style for women run very narrow, and pinch across the top of the foot. Also, since Toms have had made this style of shoe so popular, most brands in this style are also expensive. I was not looking to spend upwards of $50 on a pair of shoes that were going to pinch, rub, and generally be uncomfortable. I decided to try buying a pair of men's shoes, since they tend to run wider than women's, and really they look exactly the same as a woman's style shoe. Ladies, let me tell you, if you have wider feet, definitely give this a try!These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, and they are really cute! I wore them around the house a bit to stretch them out, and then wore them out on a day I knew I'd be walking for pretty much the whole day. They were super comfortable the whole time. Not much in the way of support, so if that is something you need either look elsewhere, or maybe size up and get an insert. The soles are fairly cushy, and mold to your foot after a while. My feet did not hurt at all the end of the day, no blisters, no rubbing, not even across the top of my foot where the elastic is. There is plenty of room in the toe box so your toes are not all scrunched up. I am really in love with these shoes. I only deducted one star because after about five minutes of wearing them, part of the canvas came unattached from the footbed, and there is a small hole. But I mean...they're $12, so I'm not expecting miracles in terms of quality. I plan to repair it with some hot glue or gorilla glue.

These are good shoes for the price. They are a little tight till you get them broke in. But overall good.

Thought I would try something to scale back the amount I spend on Toms (going on 30 pair now), but these are NOT the answer. Material is very rigid…like wood mulch ground up and shaped into a shoe (which may actually be what these are made of tbh). And the sizing is quite small…like a full size too small. If you can stand the rigid material or otherwise love blisters, I would recommend going up a full size from your normal shoe size to even have a shot at these fitting. And definitely don’t buy these if you have wide feet…yikes! There are made for smaller, more narrow feet.

I have worn Tom’s brand for years. The absolute only issue that I have had with my Tom’s is high cost and low life expectancy. That is why I gave these a try. Upon unboxing them I knew immediately they were superior to my 3 pairs of Tom’s. The canvas is thicker and the sole also felt much more durable. Now for fit, I was very happy with the fit and comfort of the shoes. I wear a 9.5 in Tom’s so I ordered a 9. They were a bit tight out of the box but as expected they stretched perfectly after the first hour. After about 3 days of wear I was so happy I ordered 3 more pair. 2 more colors for me and 1 for my son. All 3 for what I would have spent on one pair of Tom’s. The price makes these shoes an easy 5 stars. Not taking price into account I would give these 4.5 stars. My Tom’s are now 3.5 stars!! I couldn’t be happier!!

Great fit and finish, this is the second one I purchased, fit is tight I'm a "12 and I have to cut my nails so that way it won't hurt, no support at all this is less than sandals, so you shouldn't take long walks in them or go to places that requiere you to stay up for long periods of time, but overall, the look is great, good for parties were you have to dance feels like you are skiing on the dance floor, to go to the beach, short errands or places that you know you are going to be sitted for a very long time, I really like this purchase might more!

And the shoes literally fell off my feet and were way to large, I seriously don't understand these reviewers. Most of the time when most people review shoes on Amazon they always complain about sizing, thanks everyone. I followed everyone's reviews about the shoes being too small and now my correct size is sold out. My advice, buy your actual size. And yes they have decent support for flats.

Its quite alright. Would buy again considering the price! I mean 8 bucks for some slip-ons, that's hard to find. Only thing for the 4 star is the bottom wears down pretty easy. and its starting to show it.Pro= It fits and easy to use. I got them for ease of access when i'm running errands to just slip these bad boys on.Con= Wears down easily. That's about it.Would buy again. I mean 8 dollars guys. Hard to beat that compare to other slip on that's 50 bucks and wear down almost at the same rate.
