LEGO Birthday Decoration Cake Set 40153

This arrived as described. It is very cute and even has pieces I have not seen before (like the star "button" on the rear lever), which is noteworthy since I have purchased literally millions of Legos.The set is customizable, and it provides pieces to build any age/number you want on the front from 0-99. The assembled cake can rest closed or open (revealing the jester/clown), and there is a lever at the back which controls this movement. The top tier of the cake is connected by a spring piece, which adds a small amount of movement, sound, and perhaps some durability for occasions when someone tries to open it using the top tier as a handle.It should be noted that there is not a complete mini figure included, it is only the top half of one (no legs) which you attach to the inside portion of the lever. All things considered, I think this is a cute set for a good price, and many Lego lovers would probably appreciate having it as part of their birthday celebrations.

Loved this set, we used it for a 6 inch birthday cake and it looked amazing. It took my son (4) and I an hour to build. Lots of fun but very tiny pieces. The trickiest part was the placement of the joker, but the instructions were very clear.

I used this as a cake topper for my son’s birthday cake and it was a hit! Easy to assemble and awesome that you can customize the number for the birthday recipient. Best of all, the birthday boy gets an extra gift once cake is served!

I actually built this and put it on my sons birthday cake! He absolutely loved it and thought it was the coolest thing. Afterwards of course he has rebuilt and reconfigured it a million times. Really great design.

My son turned 7 and we got this as a birthday gift for him - thought it was perfect since he’s obsessed with legos and such a coincidence that the number 7 is on the box. He had so much fun putting it together and it was pretty easy he was able to do it all on his own. The only negative is the box came destroyed - I received the package in a bag instead of a box so it looked terrible and I had to tape up the whole box since it was a birthday present.

great product and the cutest cake topper! i loved how you can personalize the number of the celebrant on the cake. in the picture below the cake topper is set on top of a store bought mini size cake and fit perfectly!

This was very fun to put together with my son and it looks great. It was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but hey, it’s a LEGO set. So that was my own mind running away with me.

I was so excited to get this, it’s perfect to build and use as a decoration for a lego themed party. My son is going to be so surprised.8 thought it was going to be a bit bigger but it works out just fine
