AIS Prepaid SIM card Asia - 4GB Data for 8 Days Roaming in 18 Countries - Japan, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Indonesia

Very happy. I put the SIM card in before I left the UK and I was worried the 8 days would start early, but checking my balance with *111*6# showed that it didn't start counting until I reached my destination, AND happily it's saying I have 6Gb limit rather than 4Gb as advertised. The comments for this production by another seller suggested taking a copy of the picture containing the instructions, but my card arrived in a plastic pouch with full instructions and a free SIM extraction tool. The instructions contain the APN settings you might need, but my Android Samsung A7 seemed to pick up whatever it needed automatically. I get a solid 4G signal (in Kuala Lumpur anyway) as advertised.

I bought this for a trip to China and Japan.I had no problem at all in Japan, worked very well, but in China, it did sometimes stop working and I would have to restart my phone. Once I realised that's all I had to do, all was good. Customer service via Facebook with someone in the Phillipines was helpful (though difficult as had to use a vpn to communicate on Facebook with hotel WiFi which kept dropping off). Strangely, vpn was not needed using sim card data, and was able to freely use Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and Google whilst in Shanghai for a few days.I would not hesitate in purchasing again.

Very easy to use, changed automatically between 4 countries visited. Would buy again.

This SIM didn't work in Japan but worked OK in New Zealand. Received text messages in Thai.
