John Deere upgrade
The Max Auto riding mower tires have been a fantastic upgrade for my John Deere mower! They provide excellent traction and stability, even on uneven terrain. I noticed an immediate improvement in handling, which makes mowing much easier and more efficient. The quality of the tires is impressive—they’re durable and seem built to last, which is exactly what I needed for regular use. Plus, they’re more affordable than some of the other brands I looked at, without compromising on performance. If you’re looking for reliable, high-quality tires for your riding mower, these are a great choice. Highly recommend them for any John Deere owner!

Prefect traction without hurting the lawn
These tires are easy enough to install with a benchtop tire changer but much stiffer than normal turf-saver tires. They have held up to abrasion and puncture type abuse without any issue. They do ride a little bit more bumpy than regular lawn tires but it’s worth it for the stability you get on slopes. They work well on soft ground and don’t damage grass. Get these if you want the best tires for your mower

Quality tires
I installed these tires myself and they fit well. I would recommend you have some experience in mounting and unmounting tires and that you use proper tire irons. These tires seem pretty tough and durable but the beads can be easily damaged on any tire without practicing a degree of finesse. They grip very well with almost no slippage. When turning too sharp on my zero turn, they did expectedly, somewhat damage some grass but far less than my old turf tires that would leave skid marks all throughout my land. All-in-all, very satisfied so far!

Excellent tires. Make Husqvarna YTH22V46 much more useful.
I wish I had gotten these tires when I first got this mower. I have a Husqvarna YTH22V46, which came with 20x8.00-8NHS - 10psi turf tires. The factory tires would spin when the ground was moist or on any amount of incline. These new tires will still spin in extreme conditions, but it happens far less often. They do not tear up moist ground at all. I honestly don't know why they put turf tires on these mowers. I guess they are really just designing for a small, flat yard.Another note is that these tires raised my mower up significantly, which was a great benefit. This mower was far too low even on the highest setting. I had already set the height adjusters in the front and the back to their maximum height and set the anti-scalp wheels one notch lower. I deliberately inflate these tires to 25psi to keep it still higher.Putting the tires on the wheel is a pain, of course, but I figured out how to do it in a fairly straightforward way by myself. Getting the old beads off and the first bead on is a matter of two pry bars. I used a full-size, heavy crowbar and a small pry bar. I used the big crowbar to pop the bead over at first, then used the small pry bar inserted just inside where the bead was still holding to work it around. This is still a pain, but it's doable. For getting the second bead on, I finally figured out to use multiple vise grips to make it fairly easy. I used the big crowbar to pop the bead in one spot, then locked the vise grips onto that spot on the rim hard. I then went across from that spot, popped the bead over with the crowbar, and locked that spot with vise grips. After doing this a third and fourth time I was mostly done. I finished with the small pry bar.I did have to use great gobs of bead sealer, bought at O'Reilly, to get the tires to seat and air up, but this might be because I only have a cheap air station with a pretty low volume of air. I worked as much of the sealer all the way around between the beads and the rims, then stood the tire up and mashed on it while airing it up. They finally caught and seated and they hold air with no problems. They should really make these tires an option when you buy a mower like this. I am quite pleased to have them.

Nice beefy tires!
These tires are awesome. I have hilly terrain and I needed to replace my standard turf tires for some with traction. Let me tell you, these are it! After receiving them in a timely fashion, i was impressed with how thick and heavy they are. I had them mounted on my rims at a local tire shop for 15 bucks each. I proceeded to put these tires through their paces. I used them to drag heavy rocks up steep hills and they performed admirably. The ride is still smooth and they didn't tear up my lawn. Can't go wrong with these and the price is right.

Great tires. Much improved over turf master.
Put these on a lawn tractor. I have lots of hills and the turfmaster tires would slip with just drw on the grass. These work great and feel much safer.Install was easy. I used a set of tire spoons, watched a video. Took me about 2 hours to get the old tires off and replace them. Would be much faster now that I know what I'm doing.

These made my RZT50 sexy !
I rebuilt a Cub Cadet RZT 50 and put run flats up front and because the turf tires kept slipping I bought these tractor tread tires for it and this was the best thing I could have done!!!! They look great and ride better than the turf tires and grip like crazy glue. I am mowing essentially fields that’s where my house is in a rural setting. So I’m not worried about tearing up St Augustine or Bermuda grass but I think would do just fine, I have several slopes that my mower regularly slipped on and these little monsters have no issue staying on tract.
