Daniel's Sweet Trip to the Bakery: A Scratch-&-Sniff Book (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood)

I appreciate the environmentally friendly packaging but this book unfortunately came damaged in shipping. Still a good book.

My kids and I love scratch and sniff books, and we love Daniel tiger.... But this book has silly scratch and sniff stickers. I know the book is about making banana bread, but the scents throughout the book are basically just variations of banana bread scents. My toddlers definitely prefer the llama llama scratch and sniff book better.

We probably read this book 10+ times/day at my son’s request. Unlike most of our other scratch and sniff books, the smells actually smell great and like they should. We did return our first copy because a page was sticking together upon arrival and it had ruined the print on the opposite side. When we got the replacement (the one we have now), we had the exact same issue on the same page but we just decided we’d keep it regardless.

A little monotonous.. The smells are all kind of close to each other and reading the story is kind of annoying, but kids like the smells. I have a feeling there won’t be any scent left in a year though because some of them have already faded. The banana smell is most definitely that artificial banana scent, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Daniel Tiger is super cute, so I expect nothing less from this story. Not simple enough for a super youngster to read (my daughter is 3) but adorable to read together. The scent stickers were at first glance hard to find, but they are clear circles so if you tilt the book slightly you will find them. The scents are rather duplicate, chocolate, banana, and cinnamon. Hopefully this style of sticker lasts longer than most others. Cute story about showing how you care by making someone something. Shiny and sturdy pages, bright colors, good story.

This was an instant hit! The scratch and sniffs smell amazing and the book is interesting. She enjoys pointing and naming all of the odd shaped cakes in there (shoe, ball, dolphin). She loved it so much that we went on the hunt for easy banana bread and now make it weekly. Pense que iba a tener mas rasca/huele. Solo tiene 4 con olor a platano y canela. No lleno mi expectativa.

It is a nice story but the smells are not very strong.

The book was in great condition, the smell factor was disappointing. You could hardly smell the stickers, no matter how much you scratched.

Kids love the smells. So do I.
