Clarisonic Mia 2, Sonic Facial Cleansing Brush System, 2 Speeds for Gentle and Everyday Cleansing Set, Lavender

I never leave reviews on things, but this product deserves one. For 7 years, I have been using this cleaning brush (I actually have an older model, the discontinued Clarisonic MD, but basically the same thing), and it has made all the difference in keeping away acne and keeping my skin feeling clean and looking soft and exfoliated. Yes, it's pricey at $150, but I've had mine for 7 years, which breaks down to a little over $20 per year. That's the same as one bottle of nice moisturizer, or less than one month's worth of proactiv. And it is equally as important, for me, in keeping away acne as proactiv or any topical skin care product. I also plan to keep it for many more years, so the cost of use per year will keep going down.Some helpful tips I've learned:1. Skip the clarisonic skin care products. There are other products that do equally or a better job, usually at a lower cost. Some of my favorites are Proactiv, Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash, and Ponds products.2. To extend the life of your brush heads, soak them in a diluted bleach mixture every few weeks. Then rinse and dry them. This will disinfect them, giving you a few extra weeks or months before you have to replace them. Not disinfecting= bacteria=acne. Not good. When you do buy new brush heads, try to buy them in bulk.3. Be sure to remove the brush heads and clean the prongs underneath every few weeks. Grime & bacteria tend to build up here. I am So sad to write this review because it has nothing to do with how well the Clarisonic cleans my skin - which is: beautifully. Rather it is about the fact that I’m on to my 5th Clarisonic Mia Bc I have Had issues with the charging mechanisms of every single one I’ve been sent. Not sure if I got A cheap version because it was Prime Day and subsequent replacements are not actually brand new but I was Told by customer service to use a power strip only Bc the recharging wires are sensitive and often short the machine. What?!! There are no issues with the electricity in my house and using a power cord did nothing to help. For the last 4 devices I’ve been sent, the device worked perfectly after the first charge and stopped working altogether after the 2nd charge. I am Beyond annoyed by how ridiculous this process has been and how terrible this product is. Clarisonic needs to come clean to its customers and have a recall.

I love product. However product ordered in Jan 2018, BROKE 3 months after use. Ordered a 2nd one received Last week, Jun 2018, Lasted 4 DAYS and quit working!

I got this a couple of months ago after ending frustrated with continuous hormonal acne that started after I had my kiddo two years ago. I've tried various products to no avail. Decided to give this a shot as a last resort before seeing a dermatologist and possibly being prescribed medication. Luckily I noticed immediate improvement in my skin - smoother and the hormonal cystic acne on my jawline went away. I use this daily in the evening with my gentle and inexpensive Cerave cleanser.

My skin has transformed! I suffer from hormonal acne & I'm a picker. The brush is gentle on my sensitive skin & prevents me from having to touch my face when I wash it. My skin is a lot smoother, healthier, more radiant. My derm & Skincare Specialist both love this product & have encouraged me to keep using it. I love it!

This isn’t even a Clarisonic brand, it’s some off brand fake. I bought this one for my sister and it was supposed to be the same one as I have and it’s totally not.

I'd been wanting a Mia for ages and after nearly purchasing one a couple of times at Sephora, I decided to purchase one here at Amazon.com because it's cheaper (cheaper in price, no tax and free shipping). I've been nothing but happy since it arrived in the mail. It was fully charged after about 12 hours and I after some practice, I've finally developed a regime that suits me. Remove makeup with makeup remover towelettes; wet face with warm water; apply Clarasonic's Refreshing Gel Cleanser (trail sample comes with Mia) to my face (not the cleansing brush) and cleanse away. The Mia 2 has two speeds (I prefer the stronger) and it has a programmed timer to let you know when to cleanse a certain zone on your face and when to move on to another. The vibration of the Mia is nice and strong and even though the timed cleansing seems to go by rather quickly, it really does get the face clean. With practice I've learned not to apply too much pressure while cleansing and let the bristles do the work. Also, the Refreshing Gel Cleanser is amazing! I tend to have oily/combination skin and this cleanser has been wonderful. I like it so much I went to Sephora today to purchase a full sized tube of the gel and they were sold out! The salesgirl told me that they've been sold out for a while but were expecting a shipment anytime. I came home and ended up ordering it here on Amazon. Sure I've got to wait a couple of days but again: free shipping, no tax and a couple of dollars cheaper than Sephora. (Wow! This review is sounding a little anti-Sephora, but I really do love Sephora and I do buy tons of great products there.) Since I began using the Mia 2 my skin has improved tons. Three wicked blemishes I had (2 on my forehead and one on my cheek) been having issues with have cleared up quicker than usual and some little breakouts on my jawlines have cleared up as well. I had huge pores on my nose and those appear much smaller. Even my skin tone seems to have evened out. I used to have dark or red spots due to past blemishes and those are fading daily. I think it's due to the vibrations of the Mia stimulating blood circulation in the skin and as a result speeds up the healing and it feels great too. The Mia 2 came with: The Mia 2 device and a cleansing brush, the trail sample of cleansing gel I mentioned earlier (a little goes a long way so it will last longer than you think), a charger (no plugs to plug into the Mia but rather 2 dull magnetic prongs that just latch on to two fitted grooves on the Mia 2, and a plastic cover to cover the cleansing brush, and a travel case that shaped to the Mia 2 (which I know will come in handy when I do some traveling during the upcoming holidays). I highly recommend this product. The only issue I have with the item is that I wish I were able to disable the timing mechanism. Other than that not a thing to complain about.UPDATE: After a while my Mia stopped working. Amazon was unable to replace the item because so much time had passed from the date of purchase, but they suggested I contact Clarisonic. I did and after a few exchanged emails, Clarisonic replaced my Mia and I couldn't be happier. I still love my Mia and recommend it as a great item.

I love the Mia 2 Cleaning system, however, I wish I would've read the reviews before purchasing from here. The systems must be faulty as mine stopped working right away as well. I know many other people who have purchased the system from other places and have not had this problem. I've tried to contact the seller but they will not get back to me. BUY FROM A DIFFERENT SOURCE!My last message I sent them and they didn't reply:I spoke to clarisonic this morning. They notified me that your company is replacing the inside of the systems with faulty materials. Although the outside is legit they are being altered through your company. I will not stop here. Clarisonic and I will come up with a solution to stop what you are doing. I want a refund! I will continue to put the reviews on your account until this is resolvedThey are selling systems that look legit on the outside but are cheap and faulty in the inside

Think very carefully before using this product. I was drawn to the idea of really deep cleansing and whilst it no doubt does that very well, it also caused the capillaries on my neck and nose to rupture. I would advise against buying.

My skin feels even smoother after using this. Glad I made the purchase. Easy and quick to use.

Use it for 5 years never failed

Bought for my other half who says it's great; makes her skin feel much cleaner and smoother.
