Mackie Mix5 5-Channel Compact Mixer Bundled with Knox Gear 20ft. XLR Cable and 3.5mm TRs to Dual 1/4" TS Breakout Cable (3 Items)

I've used this mixer a couple of times and so far it has performed without any issues. I would recommend it!

Why include a 3.5mm breakout cable when the product has no 3.5mm ports? 20' XLR cable and wrong breakout cable for live use? Would have appreciated a 1/4" breakout cable so I could plug this into my stage monitor. Will be returning and buying correct cable separately.

I now have four of these little Mackie mixers in use in my studio. Due to space constraints, I have only enough room for two audio interface cards in my racks, allowing me 16 channels (8-stereo) of audio. I have many more instruments than stereo inputs so I decided to gang two stereo devices (mostly synth modules) into each of these mixers. That expanded my available inputs to 24 (12 stereo) channels. Because when they are operated at unity gain these mixers do not produce any noise or constrict the headroom of the analog signals, they are ideal for this application. The fifth input (the one with the XLR connector and most controls) is wasted in this application. But, for about $60 bucks a shot, they really can't be beat for their usefulness.

got this for a headphone setup for me and fellas for jamming with only the drums making noise (no mic bleed) works great, sounds good. we run out of our amps direct, no speaker plugged in, not the best for natural sound, but good for no mic bleed. this unit works great, mackie is a great name and the price is great, well worth it!
