- New York Pizza is different. The crust is completely unique. Airy, Crispy and a taste that can’t be duplicated.
- Each Individual 1 Pound Pizza Dough creates a 12 to 14 inch pie depending on how thick you like the crust.
- For best results, thaw frozen dough overnight in the refrigerator. After thawing, place dough in a large, lightly oiled bowl, then cover with a clean dish towel and allow to proof at room temperature for at least 1½ hours. Dough should double in size. Proofing times vary depending on the season and location—proofed dough should be soft to the touch and still have a slight chill.
- Once dough is fully proofed, stretch or roll it flat and top with your favorite ingredients. Allow to rest approximately ½ hour, then bake. For same-day use, leave dough at room temperature for approximately four hours prior to baking (times will vary based on the season and your location)
- Our Pizza Dough is made fresh and frozen only for transportation.
Taste the difference New York Water makes! Lower proofing time makes for a thinner crust. Longer proofing time will make a thicker pie.
