I purchased this notebook for my strongly left-handed 3 year-old grand-daughter. I am strongly left-handed, so I know how uncomfortable a "regular" notebook is. Yes, she will need to learn to use a regular notebook, but I thought it would be fun to start with one designed especially for kids like her.Some reviewers thought the pages are printed upside down. They are not. To use the right-sided binding, you need to flip the book over. It would've been better if the cover was printed so the cover art had the binding on the right side. But alas, that is not the case. I would've deducted two stars for this.However, I am giving this product a one-star rating, and am returning the notebook for this reason: the product description states, "The main purpose of this book is to prevent the child's left hand from resting in the middle of the book spine and running into it while writing - this is what most left handed people hate most." But in reality, the notebook is set up so that there is writing on both facing pages. This means that for half of the pages, the child's left hand WILL rest on the book spine.I think this layout is very, very confusing and clunky. A cover that doesn't correspond to the inside layout, and a layout that means the spine will be in the way.

Looks like a good quality book and would have been great for my 3 year old grandson but the pages are all upside down. I may have kept it if it was for his older sister but it would be too confusing at 3.

The book is “flipped” so that the left hand isn’t resting in the gutter/binding or the book. However these pages are double sided so for half of the pages, the left hand is still in the gutter. There is nothing in this book to really help a left-handed learner.

Needs instructions & doesn't help a right handed person help a child who is left handed

This book is supposed to be printed "upside down" meaning the spine is opposite where you'd expect if you opened the "front cover." I received this book as a standard, rightside up print completely defeating the purpose as it is advertised.Find a better seller for this sort of product.

This book was very disappointing for the price. Good quality, but it's basically something you can pick up at your local dollar store.

If the book was printed properly, it might help but for a 4 year old it will just confuse them more .

It was ok would have liked more tracing.

I opened booklet and all the pages were upside down :(

A little confused because the book is bound backwards so you open the cover and the pages are all up side down.
