Works really well i stored a lot on it already and i can move to another computer easily if i want to play my games or make models plus very easy to use.

I bought this HDD for my mother and she loves it.I've also used and tested it several times and I must say it performs great!Important to note my mother is not a gamer and is only using it for regular file unloads and computer backups.Since it won't be used for gaming my testing consisted of me moving several hundred gigs of files back and forth and streaming both music and movies directly off the drive while these transfers were simultaneously going on. I did not test its performance from a gamer's perspective but I did put it through my own gauntlet and it did remarkably well.Read and write speeds are true to specifications. The drive does stay significantly cooler than my other WD HDDs.I do highly recommend this product and I do plan to buy the 5TB variant for myself soon.PS I do buy separate cases for all my external HDDs you should carefully note the dimensions of this drive if you shop for a case because this drive is super thin and several milimeters wider than past WD products. My son is a gamer and loves his 2T portable that holds all his games. Perfect size to take anywhere. Plug and play no software needed and very reliable .

The media could not be loaded. This has been a fantastic purchase. My PlayStation fills up on storage fast with how large games are nowadays. This hard drive has been a life saver and it was super easy to set up.All I had to do was plug it in and confirm that I wanted it to store games. It is small and thin so it can fit just about anywhere. I haven’t noticed any noise from it and the drive has been great quality.

It connected well and the storage are right the amount but It missing 200 GB in it. The download speed is good exactly I wanted. It says it will give me 2 months of game pass in image but it gives me discord nitro.

I purchased this for my Xbox One S and couldn't be happier. It's easy to move files and games back and forth with the Xbox and is fast enough that you can play games stored on the drive.Pros:ReliableVery portableHas a clean look.Competitive price.Good storage capacityFast enough to play games from.Cons:There is an LED light on the top of the hard drive that will remain on even if you power the Xbox off. This isn't enough for me to give it a 4 star rating, but it might annoy you if you keep the device on your bedroom.

I immediately dumped about 500 GB on the drive, and the biggest files transferred at a fairly consistent rate of around 118 MB/s. All told it took just around an hour and a half for the full transfer. Of course an SSD would blow that out of the water, but for a 2.5-inch HDD, that's not half bad. And I expect this drive to be much more reliable and long lasting than an SSD.One of my primary uses for this is playing media on my Insignia Fire TV. It connects with no issues, and everything plays perfectly.So far everything about this drive is above and beyond. And for the price point, this is going to be hard to beat. Would definitely recommend!
