This package of Margaret Thatcher's cd's is OUTSTANDING!!!! This is the words of the REAL Iron Lady not that awful movie staring Meryl Streep. When listening to these speeches it really makes you feel the power of the day she made them. I say buy these and listen to Lady Margaret Thatcher there will never be another leader like her!!!

I would recommend this terrific CD to anyone who has even a passing acquaintance with one of the finest Prime Ministers Britain has ever had. It comes in a 3 CD package, but the first one alone is worth the price. To hear the difference in her voice (tone, inflection, etc.) on the 1st. selection (which is an interview), and her later speeches and interviews is an enjoyment not to be missed. Hail to the people who put these rememberances together!!!!

This comment by Margaret Thatcher that "the liberty we respect with it's strong committment to keeping the sovereignty of the British/English parliament against incursions from stronger external powers, and keeping our natural wildlife (green belt green) was a wake up call. Her comment that "it is a heritage the British people are long acustomed too and that it is so much part of us and we are used to that freedom" over hundreds of years was a hope expressed in a global world that may lessen respects for these values.

I thought it was well written, and told her story in an informative and interesting manner. I enjoyed it so much

Wonderful series for Thatcher fans. I bought this for my history buff boyfriend and he was so excited to get it. He didn't know that there was a collection like this. A must have for Margaret Thatcher fans as it is her in her own words.

A Great Lady. We are sorely in need of her kind of politician. I would throw away both Houses for her.

Although Margaret Thatcher is now no longer with us, and despite the variety of views about her, there can be no doubt this woman was indeed a great leader and had a strength of character unsurpassed to this day.This CD has produced many of her infamous speeches, is clear and accurate, and takes you back to those days when they were made.Close your eyes and listen, the content of what she says reflects the high intelligence and grasp of the then current problems, her evaluation and remedies certainly worked.These are actual sppeches made by her, and not voice-overs, humourous in part, entertaining certainly, spoken with integrity and great perception, the CD is worth having if only to remind us that such a talent existed.Highly recommended.

This arrived swiftly and is a nice set of speeches. It looks as if it comes with a book in the pictures, but it is only a little booklet.

A very interesting read. Was helpful for family A level political studies.
