Dyson Universal Fit Adaptor 912270-01

It was difficult to understand the specifications of this from the ad, but I took a chance and it was exactly what I wanted. I wanted to use my old DC65 attachments with my small shop vac. Very happy with this item. It appears to be the same quality as the original dyson attachments.

Didn't fit on my Dyson. The company said I could send it back...at my expense. It came from China.Wasn't worth the trip to the post office.I tossed it.Worthless and poor customer service.

I got this so I could use a "new style" upholstery brush with my DC07. Works great. Other reviews have mentioned things like "it's flimsy". Seems stout enough to me, however, I could see that if you were jamming this in and out of the accessory hose all day, you might be able to hulk-out and smash it (eventually). My tip for that is to spray that end with silicone lube (let it dry/tack-up before using it) and it'll slide in (but not out) no problem.

This universal adapter allowed us to use  Dyson Tangle Free Turbine  with an older Dyson 18 slim Total Access (purple-color) vacuum. The universal adaptor does take a little more time to ship, but it is well worth the wait. The part with the adaptor work great!

Universal fit does not fit my Kenmore. Had to return it, and I get snarky when I have to pay return postage!!

Worked great so I could use the newer attachments for the DC 23 with my Animal DC14. I love that it expanded the assortment of attachments I can use. My DC14 is older, but I still love it. Plus this way if I do buy a newer Dyson someday, I can use the new attachments on it. This also let me use the attachments on a Black and Decker cordless vac (with a bit of tweaking). Be aware if doesn't work for every type, but I hope this review helps see some of the ones it works with. I so appreciate this adapter being available and affordable so people can use the newer model attachments without having to buy a new model of vacuum.

Fits, but not airtight.

This is NOT universal! Does not fit my Dyson V8 cordless or the attachment I needed it for. I thought, previously, that all dyson attachments were universal with each other. I’m sad to discover they are not. The description of product needs to be amended because I am shockingly disappointed.

Bought to attach a Dyson DC32 head to my new Henry vacuum cleaner. Fits perfectly.

I have an older dc14 dysons that still works like a dream as well as a newer cordless.bbi bought the tangle free turbine for my stairs and it's absolutely awesome but didn't fit my older dyson. When I found this adapter I was thrilled. Now I can use the turbine using my old dyson and it does a fantastic job.

Questo accessorio è davvero molto utile per utilizzare sia altri accessori Dyson tipo la Turbospazzola Tangle Free sia eventualmente accessori di altre marche. Comunque da avere visto il costo non particolarmente impegnativo.

it says universal, yet it doesn't fit. I requested a refund as its now useless, I have to pay shipping to send it back.
