Brilliant
I used two standard Soss 216 hinges along with this hinge to create a door that folds in the middle yet springs back to a normal door shape. I needed it to be able to fold in the middle to clear an obstacle that couldn't be moved. It works beautifully. Very sturdy and smooth. It was a bit intimidatting drilling the 8 inch + deep hole into the door but a Forstner bit and Forstner bit extender from Woodcraft did the trick. The price seems very outrageous and it probably is but I needed the spring function in an invisible hinge and this was perfect. Very well made and very little play in the mechanism. Do I wish it cost 20 bucks? Yeah. But when you put this in your hands it has the heft, look and feel of high quality. I wanted the best and this was it. Don't regret spending $100 for this baby.
