I did plenty of research before taking the plunge on my first tattoo earlier this year. I was surprised to see the sheer amount of articles and posts emphasizing aftercare more than anything else. Beforehand, I thought you just picked a good artist and were done in a week. I soon realized how much extra research I'd need to do to make sure my tat was executed and healed as quickly and properly as possible. Enter inkscribd. Plenty of sites recommended a scented lotion and soap but this product boasted an itch free and clean healing process that would leave me with a vibrant tattoo. I took the gamble on them a few days before I removed my bandages. First impressions: A little does go a long way. Usually about the diameter of a pea will do for my whole shoulder. This is a product that you want a thin layer of on your skin. Using too much will have it stick to your clothes or bedsheets. It will coagulate into a beady texture if your room temperature is below 70, which my apartment always is. Its not best to use it at this temp as it could exfoliate your skin which I learned is a big no-no in the first few weeks post tattoo. I fixed this issue by either using it after a hot shower that warms the room up or by rubbing it between my fingers vigorously after washing with warm water. Application is easy and it stays active for several hours. I applied twice a day and my tattoo ended up itch free and seamless. Definitely a solid product that provides the results you want. Ill buy again for my next tat.

My second tattoo was super itchy, after searching I found this and it had great reviews. The itching was cooled immediately and after 3 days I could really tell a difference. I recommend to everyone I know who gets tattoos. It smelled nice and is not super greasy. Very happy I found this.

I really like the lemon smell. The ointment has a Gloss look. A little goes a long way that way you don't have to add a lot. I like how smooth it left my skin. It feels moisturized. Helped with the itching. I really like this ointment.

I got my first tattoo a month ago. I used this tattoo balm for the first 2 1/2 weeks. Everyone told me that my tattoo would probably start to itch as it healed, but whenever it felt the slightest bit itchy I applied the tattoo balm and I never had a problem with itching. I used the balm 4 times a day and my tattoo looks great. I highly recommend it.

Im on day 5 of my tattoo healing it’s almost done peeling & helps the process. It relieves my itching and keeps the tattoo moisturized without clogging your pores like normal lotions. It is oily but it will keep your tattoo looking fresh & brand new. Very soothing to the skin and has a very nice scent. Please read ingredients before buying if you are allergic to certain things.

It’s ok. I paid $25 and the day it delivered it was listing for $19.99. I am honestly just as satisfied with a cheaper product that my artist recommended. It is thick in the container and glides on smoothly. It smells nice. It moisturizes well but I am left a tad greasy feeling but that’s been with any product. I’d buy again as long as the price is decent.

The very best thing about this Tattoo Balm was it stopped the itching during healing. My elbow was soooooooo itchy and this helped better than any other lotion I tried. As far as "before" and "after" and does it make my tattoos look bolder and brighter?.. Sure, if course it does. But so does almost every other lotion.The special things about this product are: the reduced itch when healing.... It's quick absorbing... The little jar lasted a long time.I like it a lot and will always buy it to help a new tattoo

I love that it has natural ingredients and made in the usa. I love how well it soothes a new tattoo but also gives new life to old tattoos. As one with multiple tattoos the product has a less is more thing to it and the jar will last a while. It smells nice for a natural product. I have a few tattoos that itch and raise up during storms and major weather changes and this product helps soothe the itchiness and reduce the swelling that happens.
