I'm liking it and the size screen it offers in a small space
I have a small studio and my computer is a small Surface Pro with a 12.3 " screen. When I want to see details on photos from which I am working or read a book with great detail in photos, the Pro can't offer me the detail I want. The ACER certainly does. Some thoughts:I had previously bought an HDMI cable. Be warned. Don't bother.ACER worked only with its own cable (which is not a big deal, just took us a while to figure out.) And one other thing: I don't know how to accommodate for this: the color I see on the ACER is different, less saturated, than what I see on the Surface Pro. It is less intense on the ACER and I'm not sure, when I am painting from a photo, which image reflects the correct saturation. Interesting. I'm choosing to go with the ACER since I think it has more pixels per whatever than my computer. Anyone else have this?

Happy with this 25" FHD monitor
Great monitor for the price. Details as follows:Pros---Decent colors-Arrived in perfect condition, no defects-Big screen-Thin border (about 1/3")-Good brightness range (mine is set to 65-70 and it is perfect)-No issues with gaming or general use (screen tear or flickering)Cons---Stand is somewhat flimsy (slight wobbles) as described in other reviews-Colors are slightly washed out-Viewing angles not as impressive as anticipated for an IPS; but acceptable.-"Creaky" constructionNotes---Despite what others have said regarding the flimsy stand, I don't find it a problem. Honestly, for $150 monitor, it's great. I don't really need to change the angle or direction of the stand (as most of the time I set the monitor where I want it and leave it), so I don't need the most rock solid stand.-The monitor I got is a matte finish which handles reflections rather well (some have been getting glossy, so i've read). Is it the best I've seen? No. But for a good value monitor, it's nothing that is impossible to live with.-My monitor has a DC only input (assuming that is standard) and it comes with an external converter, which I was not expecting. I was expecting the transformer inboard with just a cable running, but this is not an issue. Conclusion:Overall, very happy with this purchase and the value of the monitor. I would readily consider this monitor (or it's 1440p counter part) again.

this is a great little monitor so far
So, this is a great little monitor so far. I've had it for about 2 weeks and it is doing its job admirably as a second monitor in my current setup. It looks great and is the perfect size for my desk. HOWEVER, I have probably spent several hours too many trying to get this thing to look "correct." I am an artist, so correct color reproduction is critical to my work. Every time I use it I seem to fiddle with values here and there, so to save you time here are the settings that I have it on that I'm finally happy with:Blue Light: OffBrightness: 100Contrast: 55Color Temp: Warm6-axis Saturate: R,G, and B up to 62Additionally, I have the gamma turned up by about 25% in Windows 10's stock display calibrator. These settings are pretty eyeball-searing in low-light environments but they result in the brightest, most-accurate color reproduction that I can get out of this thing. Now that I'm comfortable with how it looks, I'm very happy with my purchase. Now I'm just crossing my fingers that it won't crap out on me in 3 months.

Money well spent
I like big screen monitors. Coming from a 23 inches one.Pros: Huge HD display, actually diagonal screen is 25.14 inches, yeah I know the manufacturer website adv of 25 inches, but is bigger than that.Speakers included, sound is average but should be enough for the average PC user. Amazing size for reading, watching You Tube videos or a movie. Skype not supported on Chromebooks but you might add the Skype for web plugin, to read and send messages to your friends. No video supported either. Hangouts is Google answer to Skype, a highly app for all your conversations needs lol.You can attach the Chromebook to the back of the monitor to eliminate clutter, but sadly since there's no manual, you would have to bring the Indiana Jones out of you to succeed.....You can lock the monitor on the settings tab. Also a guest account can be set up, independently of your account, so your friend can't look at your selfies or docs. Don't panic when monitor goes to sleep while you listen to the radio, screen goes dark, shows: VGA, DVI, HDMI prior to continue the stream, same when you turn it off. Remember this an amazing monitor attached to another device to perfectly function as a PC.Cons: No camera but that's not the end of the world, you can purchase one at a local store or online.Very satisfy with this monitor!!!

I must admit I was amazed by the looks of the matt panel when I pulled it out of the box, it looks really good. The first thing I noticed when turned it on was the sharpness of display, the colors are a bit washed out compared to my old VA LED TV.The settings in the OSD do not offer much calibration potential, I had to use nvidia control panel to boost the vibrancy of the colors by 20% and it looks gorgeous, just the way I want it. To button layout is tricky to use but that's no deal breaker, you won't be messing with those every day. The 2 splash screens that show up when the screen goes on look aweful, but again, not a deal breaker. One thing to mention, I was able to overclock the panel to 75Hz at 1080p with no effort at all, I was even able to push 75Hz at 1440p with gpu downscaling. The speakers on this one are tiny and sound pretty low with no bass at all, not good enough for music or gaming. The stand is sturdy, unless u live in an area with too many earthquakes you won't be having problems with it.I do recommend buying this monitor, at this price range I doubt you can find a better option.Model: G257HL bmix 25"

Ghosting and Motion Blur make this a disappointment
This monitor looks great but a disturbing lack of features and a painful amount of ghosting/motion blur make this monitor a huge disappointment.Pros:Looks great. Nice colour, good viewing angles, decent sizeCons:Almost no settings to customize. You have basic pre-loaded settings like 'video' but you can't change the contrast or the gamma or anything.Motion blur/Ghosting is horrendous. At first I thought I was imagining it so I did some tests and it is much worse than my monitor from about 6 years ago and my really cheap Insignia television.Too 'smooth'. By that I mean there is no toggle for sharpness and the default is so smooth that everything looks just a tad too blurry. It'd be nice to have a tiny bit more clarity.

Very Good Cheap IPS Monitor
First one had dirt behind the screen but second one was perfect. Don't have to change any settings out of the box as it's all perfectly setup. Bit annoying that there isn't that much options for the monitor though.
