its a good tight fit, keep going it will fit. it will stretch out to fit like a new boot
its a great product specially for the price, in a helmet boot you want it to fit real tight, snug you can put stuff in the helmet first then zip it up, it has straps that cant be undone and a lock so a little security from your average thief who is an opportunist, the thief that wont do any work he wants to just grab and go before he gets his teeth kicked out..just a feature, its actually just a storage case for transporting a helmet, works great nice and small fits on your back seat, so if you run into your honey, remove helmet, stuff sock under seat, go... otherwise its hidden from plain view, the sun and other rocks and what not flying up and scratching and chipping away at your $800 lid.. right?sure hope you're not putting your girls head in a cheap lid.. big no no

Not big enough to hold a helmet
One reviewer said they were able to fit a helmet in this bag, but I was not able to fit a size L Shoei Neotec 2 helmet in this bag when expanded. It simply wouldn't fit the circumference of the helmet.Further, the shape of the "lid" of the bag I received was deformed (squished concave on one side) and would not retain the original shape like in the picture. The expansion mechanism is BELOW the side buckles so you have to loosen the retaining straps to expand the interior. I was disappointed because I found this bag to be visually pleasing and was hoping it would expand enough to hold my helmet. I returned this bag and purchased a different bag that perfectly fits my helmet. I really wanted to like this bag because of the look of it, but it's just not big enough for me, and the specific unit I received would not retain its original pictured shape because it had been deformed during shipping.

Surprisingly high quality.
Honestly, I was just looking for a cheap piece of junk to hold my stuff. This thing is thick, sturdy and surprisingly high quality. Not expecting that at all. You're getting a B+ product for D+ prices.

Avoid this one.
Didn't get to test the waterproof ability of this product because after loading one 16oz water bottle into it and grabbing my helmet to go for a ride it tore at the handle. I'm looking for a tailbag that will permanently stay on my bike but I'm glad it tore walking to my bike rather than going down the interstate. I did try opening it up to see if my helmet would fit so I could perhaps use it as a storage sleeve since it ripped. I'm not big on wasting stuff even if it is of a cheap quality. but a size large bucket wouldn't even fit. If it can't hold a water bottle i have no use for it. You decide if you do.

Looks great and has tons of room
This bag is awesome for the price 5 star all day long. Looks great and holds my spare helmet he’ll you can even fit a gallon of milk in it 🔥🔥🔥🔥I highly recommend it!!!

Nice bag
Great looking bag,durable and rugged, serves the purpose, but not so waterproof.

Zippers broke on the first pull.
Both zippers broke on first pull (no joke). Straps that hold it to the bike seem flimsy, wouldn’t hold anything more valuable in it then lunch.
