It sticks out a little bit. Change it to the setting you want and cut the excess off. Bend if needed
Works well I would say. Held my feet well against the door. I did ended up setting it to the lowest hole and then cutting the excess metal off.

Well made, easy to install... brilliant sit-up solution
I sort of got tired of doing crunches and didn't know equipment like this existed until I came upon it by accident while reviewing something else. I read the reviews and decided to spend $13 and try it. Glad I did!This is a really well-made piece of exercise equipment. The metal is heavy duty and all the edges are smooth. The high-gloss paint allows it to slide smoothly over the carpet so I don't have to keep taking it off and putting it back on when I open/close the door to my workout room.I'm 5'5" tall with about 50 lbs. to lose so I'm not thin, but this holds up well... it fits snugly against the door and doesn't move at all. The door to my exercise room is just an inexpensive luan door (hollow) but the situp bar feels solid and secure against it.I am deducting one star, however, because I think there should be more clearance between the door and foot pegs... my feet in my size 9 Saucony shoes don't fit between the door and pegs unless I have the pegs set the furthest out (the highest notch). For guys with big feet, this could be a tight fit.Otherwise I love using this and it has definitely helped my routine.

Exactly What I Was Looking For!
Perfect! It was exactly what I was looking for. It took about 30 seconds to assemble and place it under my door. I can now do my crunches with ease if I can't make it to the gym!

Sturdy
Very easy to use good quality Works perfectly doesn’t move. Product has great quality for its price. Would recommend anybody to purchase from this store.

The Installation Video / Pictures are backwards
The wing nut and cross bar fit on the other side of the main bar from the picture. If you try to put the wingnut and crossbar on the other side it will not tighten properly. Also, they don't tell you that you unscrew and widen the opening and then slide it under the edge of the door and then tighten it. With these simple fixes to 'documentation' it works ok for sit ups.

Good for the price
Does what it needs to do. Decent product for the price. The adjustable mount will fit most doors and seems solid enough for my needs.
