Schiff Ribbons 922-1 100-Yard Cotton Twill Tape Ribbon, 1-Inch, Natural

This was the most cost-efficient way for me to buy the 45 yards of twill tape my project required--it is really a good deal for the $. This twill tape isn't exactly what I was originally looking for, but I decided to adjust my project to make it work, and it worked fine. Other reviews caused me to expect a stiffer ribbon than this is, but the description didn't say "heavyweight" so I got what I ordered and it worked out fine. I'd call it medium weight. I dyed the 45 yards I initially needed royal blue, and the tape took the dye evenly. I made ten chef's aprons. For bib neck strap and loop with D rings to adjust the length, I doubled the tape to make it stiff enough to hold the D rings in position when they were pulled tight. (Earlier I made a pair of the same aprons with lightweight twill tape and the tape just pulled through the rings instead of tightening and holding.) For the long waist ties, I used a single layer of the tape. It is flexible enough to tie easily but heavy enough to be sturdy and hang flat. They look like they will wear very well. I am happy with my purchase and the service was great--I got the order quickly.

I had ordered this twill tape from another company by accident and it was so loosely woven that I couldn't even use it. I will make sure I order from this company in the future, it is top quality. Thanks

This twill tape was perfect in every way. I can use this tape for zippers, trim, and many more uses. I am using the tape for labels to sew into what I make to sell. Very useful.

While this works for my purpose it was much lighter weight than I anticipated. I would have preferred it to be twice as heavy. Maybe I need to understand better what I really wanted. However, it came packaged great on a roll, and shipped quickly and is a good quality light weight product.

this stuff was the best....I usually use seam binding - that slips and its narrow and , and......this was perfect for what I needed, will order again........it's was just right, and can't beat the price, thanks

The tape is more lightweight than I expected but it works perfectly . I'm making tote bags and wrapping the tape all around both sides and up to form the handles. This way the lightweight tape is strong enough to bear any weight. The wquality and color is very nice.

I purchased this twill tape for an 18th Century project, for petticoat ties. The tape is stiff; not too stiff to tie, but more than I would have wanted. I'm hoping it will soften up in the washer and dryer.
