We recently installed this in an area with constant foot traffic and a lot of flies. It has performed exceptionally well and has captured many flies. Excellent product!

Good product second one purchased. Works well for a small business. Will purchase again when needed. Recommend this product for ustomers.

It will kill the bugs that come in, but you have to figure out how lure them there.,

The Flowtron FC-7600 has made a tremendous difference in what was until now a problem flying insect control area for us. I work at an animal shelter and the administrative areas are seasonally overrun with winged insects. We experience a large volume of public traffic and were desperate for a solution that was not only effective but that has an aesthetically pleasing quality as well. The Flowtron FC-7600 has worked exceedingly well for us and it looks good too!

This bug zapper is Made in the USA. Flowtron is the original and still the best. This uses old school transformers that make the satisfying loud zapping sound. Sometimes you can see smoke coming out of the grid when it’s a larger bug. I took the unit apart to see the electronics inside, and I like the simplicity. This is serviceable and should last for many years, maybe even decades of use.I previously tried the cheaper big zappers with modern circuit designs, but those were nowhere near as effective as this one. Something about the new circuit designs does not have as much power to create the blue spark that fries the bugs on those cheaper models.I also love the classic look of this one. It’s has the case design of something from the 1950s and I think it looks cool in our enclosed patio, barbecue area.

I have purchased several of these Flowtron units and the larger FC7800 unit over the years for my business. When new they seem to last about a year. Then then are worthless. I buy new Flowtron bulbs and most of the time do not work due to bad bulbs or guts have gone bad. This has been a pattern on about 6 of these units I have purchased over the past several years. Even one we replaced all the guts with Flowtron parts and worked for about a year then nothing. I just replaced two lamps in one newer unit about a week ago, again with Flowtron lamps, and lamps and unit does not work. I finally wrote an email to Flowtron a week ago about my disappointment now and over the years and no response from them yet. I also told them I am switching to another brand that has high reviews and half the price.
