Feels and looks sturdy, will probably last long time, I am loving wearing it and looking at it. I was looking for a watch that is not battery powered but affordable and this is a great buy. I haven't tried the claims of being water proof at certain depths, am not exactly into diving. I have had enough with electronics that will fail the moment you decide to depend on it. This watch tells me the time and that's what I want from a watch- there are tons of them out there telling you your heart rate, sleep quality, step count but you have to treat them like a baby and they aren't cheap. This is a self- winding watch: as long as you wear it, it's on. You'll have to wind it only if you haven't worn it for more than 24 hours. You could buy this watch as a statement against failure of the digital technology, that's partly my motivation.

Made in Russia using same tech as vintage Vostoks. I like the simple and reliable design of the dateless movement. The "retro" turtle look makes it stand out among my collection of SKX's. Mine runs fast out of the box, which is ok with me. (allows for a greater user experience as with all my automatic watches) It feels solid and I appreciate its construction and rich history behind the concept and making of the watch. I chose the black NATO strap for comfort.I am very pleased with my purchase and have been wearing it on and off since January, 2018. It's holding up well on land and on sea. I attached a pic wearing it underwater on a recent beach trip. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have.Update 2021:Don’t let the wait keep you from ordering. It’s well worth having a piece of watchmaking importance from the 1960’s. Wearing it brings a sense of nostalgia. And the 31 Jewel automatic movement keeps working like a tank. I have owned this watch for 3 years and still feel the same way as the day I first received it. The “Scuba Dude” on the dial does not get old. Every collector should own at least one Vostok. Looks great on an aftermarket 22mm Jubilee Bracelet or a Maratac Watch Strap. Go for it and have fun wearing it.

Very pleased with my beautiful new Vostok Amphibia. I love everything about it including the case, the hand set. Screwed down the crown and wore it in the shower. This dive watch is waterproof to 200 meters with an innovative technology. This is an automatic dive watch at a very reasonable price. Because of the relatively short lug to lug 45mm measure it looks great on my 6.5 inch wrist. Now I don’t lust after a SeikoTurtle at similar dimensions. Runs alittle fast but better fast than slow. This is not a quartz watch. Swapped the very nice Nato strap it came with for this Bonetto Cinturini rubber strap. Great service from Sergey at the Ru Store. Great watch at a great price. My first Vostok but not my last. Highly recommended! Did I nention I love it?

Amazing watch. Piece of history on your wrist. 85 percent Russian tank. 15 percent Swatch. Take a step back.. 50 years back to enjoy a timepiece frozen in time. Yet timeless and forever young. This is what watchmaking is all about. If you love watches you will fall hard for this watch.

This thing keeps time very well. It feels and looks solid. The NATO style band (hmm) is perfect. The watch is very attractive. The lume is not terribly bright nor long lasting, but then neither is the lume on my Omega. The stem seems a bit wiggly but works ok. Be careful not to overwind. I wind it every day because once after shaking it for a minute to self-wind, it stopped for a bit, then re-started. All was well. It took about a week longer to get here than forecast (which was forever to begin with), but when I asked about status, the vendor replied right away explaining a slight SNAFU. I intend to get another.

Update: I've had this watch for nearly 6 months now, and it's as good as new. This is probably the best value entry level automatic watch at this price range. Plus, it can cope with all water situations except scuba-diving.The watch was delivered five days early and is everything the photograph shows it to be. Great service, and I love the way the watch has no complications - just the time, nothing else!

I spoke too soon. This product is pure window dressing; it starts coming apart at the winding crown after only a few days. Not recommended.

nice watch. amphibia logo and dial color stand out. the nato band seems to be well made and is very comfortable. i would recommend this watch to anyone else, its a great deal for the price point.

I changed the strap to a leather band and it has a great retro vibe. So far this watch keeps accurate time and is one of the great bargains of the watch world. Highly recommended!
