like most consultants cum authors
I thought that this would be a book about visual thinking. However, it is more of a book about being a meeting facilitator & quick sketching before a group of professionals than it is about visual thinking. Also, like most consultants cum authors, all of the author's ideas work wonderfully for her clients.

Definitely a Keeper
I ordered this book as I was preparing to give a workshop on downsizing for senior citizens. I was able to make my concepts understandable and interesting on flip chart paper and be spontaneous with the group's interactions. I came across as a pro because I didn't need index cards or a script. My drawings gave me the prompts for my talk.

Weak on Content and Technique
Very disappointed in the quality of technique and content of this book. I had high expectations based on the reviews and was surprised that this book had very little value. I returned for a partial refund and did not bother reading the entire book.

Excellent and useful
There is too much text now in the internet and at meetings, etc. This book reminds us of the power of graphics and images. The author takes out the fear of drawing to express ideas. Her instructions and images are easy to use and work with. I have started to use these at work and am amazed at how everyone responds to drawings to express content powerfully. Well worth it.
