The quick-release feature is super convenient, making attaching and detaching from my Leatherman tool a breeze. The pocket clip is a major plus - I can secure my tool to my pocket and not worry about it falling out. Plus, the lanyard ring is great for when I want to hang it or loop it onto something. All in all, it feels sturdy and reliable. If you're after a more secure and accessible way to carry your Leatherman tool, this is definitely a good buy.

Functions properly
For the time that I've had it this pocket clip it's performed quite well and exactly as it should. Although clipping it onto your pocket does require a bit of finagling and effort but rest assured once you do clip it onto your pocket it is not going anywhere until you need it.However I do want to address that many reviews that I've seen for this product claim that it is of poor quality and brakes rather easily. But one thing that I suspect that people are neglecting to mention is that they are trying to use this POCKET clip as a BELT clip when that is neither what it is nor what it's intended to be used for.So if you are wanting to carry your Leatherman on your belt either use the Leatherman belt sheath that I know came with it or get a different belt holster that is more to your liking. Otherwise don't try to use the pocket clip as a belt clip and then get upset when it breaks.

A "must have" for daily carry of your Leatherman. Very robust, and perfectly simple to install.
I typically carry my Leatherman charge daily, as an Engineer. It comes in handy more often than not. As such, and not being one to keep things on my belt (or even wear a belt if I don't have to (read: I tend to wear pants that fit, so unless I have to tuck in my shirt to appear business professional, the belt stays off!), the pocket clip is a must have.Installation is simple--it literally clips into place. Removing it is as simple as pressing a thumb release. I was almost worried about that, but placement and just the right amount of intentional force to remove, and I've never once had it come 'accidentally' uninstalled. The first pocket clip I owned lasted 8 years. Then one day it snapped at the first bend from the pocket clip to the transition to where it attaches to the tool (likely work hardened over time due to flexion and springback of coming in and out of my pocket, dropped on the floor and used and abused bumping against all kinds of tools, fixtures, hardware, etc...). 8 years is an amazing lifetime for something that's constantly abused, stainless, and at 1.20mm thickness. I have zero complaints. And the price is completely reasonable for what you get.I personally have never used the keyring portion...I don't carry a lot of keys and won't put my poor car ignition through the trauma of adding the weight of my Leatherman to it. So, I can't speak to it, other than it appears to be the same alloy steel, so I'd expect it to be just as robust.

It attaches to the knife well. Very sturdy clip. Holds the knife to my pocket very well.
I have had the clip on my Leatherman Wave+ for just over a month. I carry this knife daily on my front pocket and use the knife often as I am a mechanical engineer in plastics and g Co instantly need to tune prototypes or physically manipulate something. It attached sturdily to the knife’s locking mechanism for the internally folded tools. It maybe released by pushing down on the tool lock, but I have never unintentionally had it come-off.The knife clips low in my pocket- the ‘goose neck’ of the clip is proud of the knife’s upper edge, so the knife body does not stick out of my pocket.Leatherman did a great job with this clip and the Wave+!

It gets my wave out of my pocket and onto my belt easily!
UPDATE: IT BROKE. It lasted a tiny bit more than a year. It was attached to my belt and when I was getting into my car I rotated myself sideways, the multitool snagged on the seat and my body motion ripped the clip away from my belt and the tool. The clip snapped right off where it connects to the tool. I'm still happy I bought it and might even buy a replacement (it's cheap), but it isn't quite as durable as the multitool it connects to.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been carrying my Leatherman Wave in my pocket for a couple years now. It's a heavy tool (but I can't give up the features!) and it weighs my pocket down considerably. It would also move itself around inside my pocket and end up turning sideways sometimes and make things uncomfortable. I really don't care for the belt "holster" that the Wave shipped with, so I just tolerated it in my pocket until I realized Leatherman sold this awesome little clip. It just jams right on the end of the tool and is held on with the same retention clip/spring that holds the inner tools in their place. Now I clip my tool directly to my belt (without a holster) and it's always accessible and doesn't feel like it weighs my pocket and pants down. I have not used the lanyard ring but I can assume it would work just as well if you planned on clipping your tool something. I think the Wave should be sold with this clip attached right from the factory. I'm so glad I found this thing, it's such a small thing that makes me love my tool that much more.

So easy, convenient and sturdy
I love the clip. I use it to keep my leatherman wave clipped to my pocket all day. It was very easy to install and feels heavy duty. I’m very happy with the purchase.

Works great
Works great for the wave +. There is some wobble when used with the surge. That doesn’t bother me but it may bother some. Good quality clip and affordable that’s my 2 cents

Great addition
I got the clip for my Leatherman Wave+. I don't always carry it on the holster so it is nice to just be able to clip it to my pocket. It still fits in the holster with the clip which was fantastic. The ring I don't use much, it is not even on it. Had it for about two years and it is solid.
