XFasten Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape, 2-Inch x 30 Yards (50.8mm x 27.43m), Clear Window Draft Isolation Sealing Film Tape, No Residue

I used the XFasten Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape to seal the gaps around my AC unit, and it works great for the job. The tape sticks well to glass and plastic, and it’s really effective at blocking drafts. I like that it’s clear, so it doesn’t stand out, and it leaves no residue when removed, which is a big plus.The adhesive is strong, but that can make it tricky to reposition once applied. It also feels a bit bulky, so it might not be ideal for super narrow gaps. The roll is long enough for most jobs, but if you have a lot to seal, you might run out faster than expected.Overall, it’s a solid choice for weatherproofing and I’d recommend it if you want something that’s easy to apply and does the job without leaving a mess.

Used this tape to seal failing vinyl windows. Absolutely fantastic results. Sealed the windows against the harsh Wyoming winter weather; sustained winds, freezing temperatures, snow/sleet/rain. It doesn't smell. It never peeled up (without my doing) and what I haven't removed for summer hasn't faded nor been degraded by the harsh heat and sun. It's become a toolbox essential as much as my drill and hammer.

Gets the job done! Lived in an apartment with old windows that would let large amounts of dirt in frequently until I bought this and sealed up the edges. My only complaint was removing it when I moved out! TONS of elbow grease, goo gone and scraping to get off the residue.

I got this hopeful to seal my windows better because of our window ac unit. GUYS, IT WORKS! Not only has it sealed the Vegas heat from coming in, it has also cut down on outside noise pollution. 10/10

We were getting a mild breeze from a window and this stopped it right away. It takes a little skill to get it on right but to cover for the winter where you do not care how it looks, it is perfect.

The tape was a bit thick and heavy, the appearance of it was quite obvious and I prefer something less visible to one’s eyes! Regular tape would have done the same or better job

I bought this tape to seal around the window ventilation for my portable AC. The tape thickness is great and I could tell when applying it to fully cover any possible gaps that nothing was getting through the smallest of gaps. It was a little more difficult to cut, but given what it's meant for I'd say that's to be expected. What I like most is that despite the great hold the adhesive has I was still able to remove tape where I had to fix things and didn't notice any adhesive left behind on my window frame. The tape adheres well to everything I used it on and even after being in contact with my skin it didn't lessen the effectiveness. I don't have any outside air getting in through anywhere after applying the tape. Overall, I'd recommend this brand to anyone.

Used this to seal the gaps around a newly installed window unit. There were a lot of gaps but this did the job. I love that it's clear. I cut it in half to fit in the places a full piece wouldn't and it did great. Super sticky stops the mosquitos and air from coming through.
