Defective Product
Product did not work as advertised. It only cools to 11 degrees Celsius and would not go any lower. The product stated that it would cool up to -15 degrees Celsius. Left the product on all night and it stayed at 11 degrees Celsius. I tried to call Benchmark Scientific and could not reach anyone on the phone. Do not buy this product!

Works for microbiology
We use this to incubate bacterial cultures at 20 or 37C and it has been reliable. Owned it for the past year.

Perfect for accurately holding 37C!
Perfect incubator if your application doesnt call for a very large internal chamber. I was hesistant when I saw some negative reviews, but after reading more closely, they were mainly related to the inability to cool to low temperatures. The specifications clearly state, "ambient -15C" (meaning that the lowest possible temperature is 15 degrees below yoru room temperature). Some buyers seemed to read this to mean that it could cool down to -15C.The digital display quickly reached temperature and has since kept my samples accurately held at 37C.I would recommend to anyone that isnt looking to spend $1000+ on a larger laboratory incubator.

This is a cheap mini fridge scam
This is hilarious. This is just a mini go fridge that sells for $99 elsewhere, but they put this in the scientific section and then change the name and call it an "incubator" and then marked it up to $500. Hilarious scam.

Specified temperature range is incorrect.
The specifications list the temperature range as -15/+60 degrees celcius, but this is incorrect. The unit is only capable of regulating to 15 degrees below the ambient temperature, not the absolute measurement from the specification. The only reference to ambient temperature is in the instruction sheet which comes with the product. Misleading and, unfortunately, unacceptable for my application.
