these filters say they are lifetime, but they must be changed. Wow~! its like a brand new vaccum!!

I used it for a. Dyson. vacuum one of the vacuums compartments is hard to open but thats about it otherwise easy to instal and works as it should they are reasonably priced and in my experience cannot be found in the store and they arrived quickly very happy thankyou

The clutch on my girlfriend’s 10-year old Dyson DC07 recently needed to be replaced and after that I thought it’d be a great time to check/clean the filters. She had been regularly washing and cleaning the blue foam element per instructions, but the fabric part of the yellow filter had dirt trapped in it and the HEPA filter was waaaay past its lifetime. I know Dyson says it’s a lifetime HEPA filter, which may be true—if you’re a fruit fly—but trust me, after 10 years of vacuuming after 3 dogs your HEPA filter has the filtering capacity of a hockey puck.I ordered this filter set and they fit perfectly…nice and snug. I swear the vacuum even let a sigh of relief when I installed these. FYI—you’ll need to purchase the seal that attaches to the bottom of the HEPA filter separately—this kit does not come with it.As a side note, I got so excited performing maintenance on the vacuum, I disassembled the entire vacuum and cleaned all the years of dust that had stuck on the cyclone-swirly-time-travel-generator thingys and the vacuum cleans like it’s brand new. I felt like I was working on the Space Shuttle. I guess I’m sort of like a Dyson Astronaut now. You owe it to yourself and your vacuum to replace these filters, your vacuum will thank you!

The filter that sits on top of the motor, you take dirt canister off then you have to pry off the cap that covers motor then it is a matter of sliding the new one in.the other one on the side of the sweeper has a spring cap it comes right off just place filter in the cover cap and re install the whole pc.

These were so easy to install and my dyson is working again suction wise. Seem to work as well as the name brand. Would buy again

These filters are the real deal! They brought my DC07 back to life!A little backstory. I found my DC07 by a dumpster 2 years ago. Spent about 40 buying a new clutch and bristle bar for it and it still worked! But I never replaced the filters. It still seemed to work so I didn't bother. Well after a few years it started to lose suction and more importantly...overheat and shut off. I started looking around for a fix and found that the filters could be the blame. Dyson says they're lifetime filters and they're wrong...After I replaced my old crust filters with these my Dyson sounded like a jet taking off and pulled up almost a full tank of deep down dirt! My DC07 is brand new again and there's no way I'm upgrading until the damn thing blows up!BTW I didn't replace the seals. I'll order them eventually but until then It doesn't need it!

The new HEPA filter DOES NOT COME with a gasket. I read this in the description but figured that I could use the one from the old filter. What you don't know is that the gasket is glued to the filter and can't simply be pulled off and re-used. I was able to carefully remove the old gasket and put it on the new one using some household adhesive I had in my toolbox, but it does take some work to get the gasket off and cleaned up to re-use. The other issue is that the plastic used on the housing is very soft and you do have to be careful to pry the tabs to get the cover off to expose the HEPA filter. I didn't break anything but came close enough to be concerned. I feel that the company could throw in the gasket for another couple of bucks or the filter should come with a gasket if the original had one that was glued on to begin with. Regardless of that issue, I was able to replace both filters and my Dyson really sucks now!

The gaskets for the hepa filter do not come with this package. You need these gaskets for air seal and they are stuck on the filter and can not use the ones on your current filter. The replacement gasket cost $9.00 from a different company.
