A real confidence booster for this new beekeeper!
I am a female, new beekeeper, and I live alone on my farm. Face stings send me to the hospital with an eye swollen shut, so I needed a suit that would totally protect me. This suit is great. I orderd it after seeign a fellow beekeeper wearing it at a workshop and he raved about it. Wanted to wait to review it until I had used it all season, and washed it, etc. I have used it all summer, and never got stung once even with an aggressive hive that would come clear into my yard to sting me or the dog. I am 5' 8" tall, 135 lbs. I ordered the SMALL size. It fits weird. It is way too big in the waist area, and the crotch hangs WAY down. It doesn't effect the use of it at all but I feel funny when wearing it to bee workshops!! But, the legs are WAY too short, so I need to wear tall rubber boots and pull the suit legs down over the top of the boot. It fits like it was designed for a very well-endowed dwarf! But, the arms and hood fit great. I like how the hood netting stays rigid and the netting can't fold up and trap a bee next to your skin. The zippers are a little hard to work but a swipe with beeswax would probably make it zip fine; mine has gotten easier to zip on its own just through use. I have also washed it (remove the hood) and it washed up just fine. It is very cool to wear in very hot weather with just shorts, a tank top and tall rubber boots on. I wish the legs were long enough to just wear with hiking shoes, but I do have long legs...a 33" inseam is what I need for pants. Anyway, a very comfortable suit in hot weather, that gives me total protection and lets me concentrate on the task at hand. It really helped me boost my confidence, working alone on my farm with my new hive and major fears of getting stung. And that's worth the price of this suit!

Great Bee Suit
This suit is well made and very bee proof. I wore it recently to work some very testy "hot" bees and had no problems with stings. Overall, it seemed a bit cooler than my previous bee jacket, but we will see how it is in July. January is the time of year of this writing. I like the fact that the zippers are super heavy duty and the elastic in the wrists and leg bottoms is also heavy duty but not uncomfortably tight. For a full body bee suit, it is very light weight but also appears to be durable. Overall, I am glad I bought this item and would recommend it to others.

Great for wasps nests
This was a godsend this year. After moving to a large property, we realized we needed a way to deal with wasp nests on our own. This was an excellent solution, and got used multiple times this season. More than paid for itself already. Thanks for helping me feel safe!

Vented without stings!
Overall I am very happy with my Ultra Breeze Bee Suit. I purchased the XL size. I'm 5' 8" 185lb and the fit is just right. There are things I like and some I dislike but I will get to that in a little bit. I live in south Texas where it's really hot and humid during most of the bee season and for 3 years I used a bee jacket instead of a full suit. It was a economy version made out of heavy cotton so it offered protection but was really hot. About 3 weeks ago I was working a really aggressive hive and some bees got inside my jacket and I got stung pretty bad. I never ever wanted to get in a situation like that again so after much research, I purchased the Ultra Breeze Suit. It is by far the most expensive suit I considered. Upon arrival, I inspected it and the construction is first class. Made in the good ole USA. Probably one of the reasons the price is high. I put it to use the first day I got it. I worked that aggressive hive again and really enjoyed the piece of mind that this suit offers as far as being protected but also breathing. No suit is sting proof but these aggressive bees couldn't sting through the Ultra Breeze suit. The vented material is great. Even in the Texas heat, I didn't get too hot. Here are my likes: Top quality construction, made in USA, breaths well but protects from stings, extra long leg zippers, easy to move in, nice placement of all the pockets, no stings! Here are my dislikes: I'm not sure how long this suit will last. Material is fragile and easily damaged by a bee smoker. Material easily gets snagged on the brass zippers, branches or anything remotely sharp or rough, sharp brass zippers and the vented material shouldn't be used together. The makers of this suit need to look at the YKK zippers used on a $700 Western Mountaineering Sleeping bag. Much better than brass, just as durable and probably cheaper. Expensive compared to other suits.I've mentioned several times that this suit is expensive. After using it for a while and being able to stay cooler and not get stung , I think its worth the price. Even with my dislikes I would buy it again. This is an instance where you get what you pay for.

Buy with caution
Seemed like a quality suit at first , it’s missing loops for your thumbs so u can pull your gloves on with ease , my wife has gotten stung in the face 3 times since we got it , the zippers have always been done up all the way and the bees still find there way through the little void that’s there , they should have a Velcro cover for this area !

Ultra Breeze suit
I did some extensive research on YouTube/Amazon and narrow down to 2 brands (Mann Lake and Ultra Breeze).References (links might or not works but you can copy & paste on YouTube):Ultra Breeze Bee SuitVENTILATED BEE SUITS: Humble Bee VS. Mann LakeMann Lake Vented Bee JacketMann Lake Vented Bee Jacket Issues (Update)I believed Ultra Breeze has good reputation mainly for their workmanship and materials used, excellent construction quality suits and excellent customer service.C&P from amazon.com respond by Ultra Breeze Suits:This is Stephanie from Ultra Breeze Suits. I wanted to let you know more about the holes that you pointed out in the veil. They are not a defect, but rather we create these holes so we can insert the boning that holds the veil off of your face. I hope this information is helpful and that you enjoy your suit. StephanieI am 5’ 11” 165 lbs and I purchased the large Ultra Breeze Jumpsuit (fitment is good) after doing extensive research online. I prefer full EVA foam mesh used everywhere (other used canvas at the end of sleeves and legs) and Ultra Breeze is the only brand constructed with both elastic and velcro at end of sleeves if the elastic is shot you still have Velcro.First impression, excellent workmanship, all YKK brass zippers are heavy duty, thicker EVA foam mesh between 2 polyester mesh. BTW the 3 cuts (see attached image) in the material of the Veil are not a defect.New Updated/improvement Ultra Breeze Jumpsuit- New heavier duty/more durable YKK brass zipper goes from ankles to knees instead of hipsEmail sent and respond by Ultra BreezeWe updated our zippers to a heavier duty zipper- these zippers are much more durable but they are heavier. As a result, we now use a zipper on the legs that goes to the knees instead of the hips.BestStephanie

Worth Every Penny! Well made, super comfortable
Money well spent! Very well made, keeps me cool and breezy in summer, I can wear shorts and a shirt and not worry about being stung - I sized it so that I can add extra layers in spring/fall when it’s cool(we’re in Ontario Canada). I like the elestisized cuffs and Velcro pockets, I can keep queen cages in the breast pocket without them falling out as I bed over. I also appreciate the full length zippers up the legs as I wear tall rubber boots and I don’t have to take the suit off to get in and out of them! Would highly recommend this suit - worth every penny!

Ultimate Quality Ultra Breeze
My original Ultra Breeze bought years ago? Still going strong. The Ultra Breeze jacket bought as a gift years ago? Still going strong. Why buy another? Because I was tired of wearing a non-vented or vented knock-off when the original was loaned or to a visitor - its that good. This new version has the same material thickness as the original. The brass zipper is thicker and comes to the knee on the legs rather than the waist on the original. No knee pads, not that the original has ever worn through without one. They are sized small for length. I prefer the large size for leg length versus the medium, even as a short dude.No tears in the veil, ever, means no tears while wearing the veil, ever. Wear the suit with confidence.
