Here’s my own opinion for both Alpecin and Hair Plush by Ultrax LabsPROS: 5 Stars for Effectiveness. It works very well. This is just as good if not better than Hair Plush I used both). I was ordering this in England and thank God now available in amazon.- PRICE: 5 Stars. It’s 6xs cheaper than HairPlush- CONTENT: 5 Stars. There’s more product in this one.CONS: - zero.Please note I am not getting paid by Alpecin. I’ve used both products and giving you my honest opinion as courtesy to you.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My Opinion for HairPlush by Ultrax Labs:This works really well. Since a year ago, I became slack in putting treatments on my scalp and I noticed I was losing my hair again. Then, I saw this bottle of Hair Plush in my office room. I forgot that I purchased this a year ago. I put it on my roots/scalp and immediately, my hair stopped falling. I had to use a lot. I can only use this product 2-3xs due to the small amount in the bottle. It’s effective but too expensive and not enough content for use. But then I remember that I was also using a product called Alpecin (also caffeine based) and stopped my hair also from falling which is 6x’s cheaper ($11.50 vs. $60) than Hair Plush by Ultrax Labs. Alpecin is just as effective if not better than Hair Plush. My order used to come from England because it was not available in Amazon. I’m so happy to hear that it is now available in amazon. I just ordered two more bottles lol. Remember that the caffeine makes the hair stop from falling and makes the strand of each hair thicker but will NOT help in regrowing new hairs. My hair did look thicker because of the caffeine but I still needed Minoxidil in conjunction with Alpecin to grow new hairs. I had lots of baby hairs and people used to compliment me a lot.PROS: 5 Stars on the Effectiveness. It stops hair from falling right away (But so as Alpecin after shampoo liquid hair growth. And NO, I’m not getting paid by Alpecin. I’m giving you non biased review because I used both products)CONS: - ONE Star -- Wayyyy Too Expensive!!! (Alpecin is 6x’s cheaper and much more liquid for extended use)- There is NOT enough content for extended use.NOTE: I didn’t have to use the Alpecin shampoo and conditioner. It works just fine with the after Alpecin liquid AFTER shampoo. Afterall, minoxidil is doing the rest of the work. If you use these two, you will have lots of new hairs, new growth, thick and hair grows longer faster. I was getting lots of compliments but I became too slack. Keep it up and you will see the huge difference in about 3-4 months for the minoxidil. The alpecin works immediately to stop the hair from falling.Based on my review, I will give it 3 Stars

Dont know about hair growth effect but its easy to apply and smells great.

This works. I just finished my first bottle and my hair is longer and thicker than it has been in years. GET AN DROPPER BOTTLE.. This stuff is watery and it's easier to apply if you use a dropper. I filled a smaller dropper bottle and just use that instead of using the full bottle. Also, if it doesn't make your scalp feeling 'tingly', you're scalp is not clean, which could have been part of your hair loss problem in the first place. Get a truly cleansing shampoo, then apply. I'm reordering another bottle and will stay on this.

Frankly, if you're concerned about thinning hair, I don't know where you'll find a better value in this price range. Will it grow hair on a billiard ball? Don't be ridiculous. Will it slow or stop you hair from shedding? Honestly, I don't know about you - but it sure did work for me. I have been using the product for four months and I know I'm shedding much less hair and I think it's giving me a fuller head of hair - and that's good enough for me.

It's my classic with more than 20 years usage - used to buy it in store in Germany, but it is not available in US. I love the refreshing feeling after having washed my hairs - it calms and energizes the skin same time. Love the feel and it works just lovely with the Alpecin shampoo for greyish hair.

I can't stand the smell. After putting it on my hair, roots become curly and difficult to manage. I wish i had bought the shampoo instead.

Not sure if its just me. But it did not help much in the hair growth. Does help beat the heat during summers. Gives a pleasant feeling when applied after shampoo. Makes your hair light. But I personally did not feel any improvements in hair growth.

This is a great product for protecting and nourishing a gentleman's hair. I have used a bottle and can state that it does reduce hair shedding, as I have noticed less hair coming off in the shower. Once you hit your mid 30s and the hair starts to thin, especially on top, you should be proactive to reduce hair loss, and Alpecin is a good defense system. While not a silver bullet, of course, it helps rather than hurts, so I think it is a good investment.Some reviewers have pointed out that the nozzle is a bit problematic. This is true. I recommend gently tilting your head back right after applying the liquid to the scalp, as to avoid any contact with eyes. Then, rub your fingers through your hair for a couple minutes, and let it sink in before styling. This feels great in the morning after a shower, as you prepare to be successful at work or play.
