So much more awesome than I expected.
So if you are looking at this product you probably already have a good idea of what it does and why you want it. If not hit up you tube for some more information.TLDR: Wow these things are great for color cal and testing camera accuracy.I used a spyder 3 for ages and it did the job fine, the company has functionally deprecated that version and I couldn’t get it working on a new system so I bit the bullet and bought the new one.The new readouts for the software are great and I love getting a map of the monitors gamut that I can reference. The software still needs knowledge on the users part to really work right, but thats how color correction works.The cube And color pallet are awesome, very well made and sturdy and they really let you check cameras and get things to a solid base line over and over. Great for testing cell phone cameras for noise and color accuracy.Love the package and every part in it. The case is nice too.

Works
Easy to use, much simpler then others and takes very little time. Will attach to you computer and monitor the light that is currently around you. Nice case to protect. I use this on my PC, Lap top and it can be used on TV. I have not used on TV yet. My laptop is a surface pro, my PC I am using a Asus ProArt monitor. You can compare before and after effects to see the difference.

No directions, really?
I am giving a 4 stars for now, but already It comes with no directions. I went online and have yet to find any so I have not attempted to use on my monitors, cameras or lenses

Junk junk!
This product only made my monitors worse. It was cumbersome and produce terrible results which I had to undo with a friend that had a better set up. Do not buy!Thank God for the return policy!

Beware! I was sent something completely different!
Beware I was sent the wrong product! I paid for Datacolor SpyderX Capture Pro! I was sent Datacolor SpyderX Photo kit!!!!!! This is completely wrong! Only 24 colour box checker- back and front pasted together, no case as shown, and no lens calibrator!
