Installation requires some attention to detail. Instructions could be better.
Installed on a 2020 Ranger XL with a factory bed liner. Needed to install the rails a few times to get the hang of it and get them lined up properly. Each rail has 3 metal clamps to attach the rail to the side of the bed. Installing the first clamp (loosely) in the middle of the rail worked best for me as I was doing the installation solo and this helped stabilize the rail to install the other clamps. Verify a level install and then tighten the clamps to lock that in.The instructions are not terrible, but they became easier to understand after I had put and taken out the rails a few times. There is a video available that is also helpful in that it gives you a high level understanding of what you are doing. The video is generic and does not show precise instructions for the Ford Ranger specifically.Ships with a rubber seal that installs on the bed behind the cab to seal the cover. Instructions say that this seal may not be correct for aftermarket liners. Was sized correctly for my install on an OEM bed liner. The seal has an adhesive that sticks to the top of the bed behind the the cab. It did not cover the the whole top of the bed and it does not cover the space between the cab and the box. Former does not matter because it is hidden under the cover after installation. Latter is needed for drainage. Time will tell if this is watertight. It looks promising but there are places in all 4 corners that while tightly sealed do have seams between the seals. There is a rubber strip that the gate will push up against when closed. This strip is not quite deep enough to ensure that it will get pushed back uniformly when the gate is closed (as one of the pictures shows). Pulling down on the cover first before closing prevents this from occurring.I can see that not being picky about getting the rails in properly could lead to poor results and potential leaks. So I would recommend taking time to get the rails in snugly and level so that the installation of the cover goes smoothly.UPDATE : After closing a few times the rubber strip for the tailgate is now going into position properly. Just took a few times and it now works perfectly!

Good, Well Made Cover
The TruXport bed cover was what I was looking for. Easy installation, maybe half hour. Fit is excellent. When in the closed position the cover is as tight as a drum skin. Easy to open and close.Price is very fair for this well made and executed product. The only downside would be it is not secure like a hard cover. But I like the price and you don't lose useable bed space.

Great, easy to intall product
My kids got me this for fathers day. It is a fantastic addition to my 19 Ranger. Not only does it make the truck look better, it is very functional. On an older truck I had a cover where you had to put a plastic lip in a groove which was not easy. This one has velcro and means you can roll up and then back down very easily. I was able to install it in about 30 minutes. If you want a cover and to be able to use the whole truck bed without removing it, I would highly recommend it. Only thing to pay attention to when installing is if they shipped a bulk head gasket with it. If they did make sure to install first. The gasket is included if needed. Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention that it secures the bed contents because you need to lower the tail gate. Yes someone could cut the top but that is pretty rare.

High quality, nice clean look... a little tricky with a bedliner
Overall, I really love this tonneau cover. It has a nice low-profile look and after months of use, has proven to be very sturdy. I was a little concerned that a tonneau cover wouldn't make it through the car wash, but after looking at the FAQ on Truxedo's site, I decided to risk it. The car wash I used has some aggressive water jets and blowers (so much so that the roof of the truck actually moved a little), and the tonneau cover weathered the storm like a champ! The minor issues I would point out:- The instructions were a bit confusing. I received three different sets of instructions: one for the weather seal kit, one for a set of support brackets, and one for the cover itself. Nothing really explained how the three were related or which part should be done first. The instructions weren't awful, but occasionally left me scratching my head as to what was actually meant. All of this is specific to my vehicle, so why not make one integrated kit with one set of integrated instructions?- My unit arrived with a very slight bow in one of the rails. In the end, this did not affect the installation, but it's something to be aware of.- The kit is designed to be installed on a vehicle without a tonneau cover. It even explains how to remove a drop-in bed-liner. But that's not an option with a spray-in bed-liner. For me, this added two challenges: 1) the rear support brackets could not be installed, because they did not fit into the space under the bed rail 2) the clamps were a bit difficult to attach properly, because the back of the clamp had to go around the bedliner material as well as the bed rail.I would definitely suggest assistance during installation. It may be possible to do alone, but it's definitely going to be a lot less aggravating if you have an extra pair of hands.

Took some adjustments to get it to work
I've had this cover on an earlier truck and that one was easy to install, this one took a bit more work to get it to seal properly. Was just a matter on placement front to back. Still like it.

GREAT
Little awkward to install as ranger doesn’t have much of a factory lip to secure but with a little work it fits great and is a very high quality end result

Ford Ranger
Pretty good , did extensive research and it was the best value and quality. Note it was not completely waterproof cover (big massive downpour experience we had - water found its way in) , but kept about everything safe and for most part dry.Giving it a 4 star because the Installation and instructions provided were scattered , and disorganized mess. I had to refer to YouTube , it took about 2.5h to install for Ford Ranger with a drop in liner ..

High quality
High quality locking system. Most use plastic, which last about a year. This is real quality.
