Excellent for beginners! But one thing....
Excellent program! I agree with another reviewer however that a pdf would be helpful with the mantras written out so as to make sure they are being pronounced correctly!

Phenomenal!
This explained mantras perfectly. I learned a lot. If you are barely starting with mantras and need a good resource to help you, this is the CD for you. (It's basically a book on CD, it's wonderful because you can hear the exact pronunciations). Love, Love, Love it!Namaste.

This worked really well for me. I'm getting back into meditation and this CD helped me clear my mind and relax.

Love the smell initially. It dies out after a while.
Nice. Certainly served it's purpose. It takes a minute to chant your way to the other side. The entire process requires a lot of patience and focus. The product was delivered on time and the packaging was perfect.

Excellent for learning mantras
Thomas Ashley Farrand has a voice that is pleasant to listen to. He gives a very good explanation of mantras and voices them beautifully so you can follow at your own pace.

Wonderful CD
I've listened to this CD many times. I learn something new everytime. Its thebest description I've received on mantras. Now they are a regular part of myspiritual practises.

This is an easy to follow teaching. He speaks clearly and gives you a full understanding of mantras and underlying belief.

Good cd but needs written text
I really enjoyed this cd, it's easy to listen to and informative. The only downside, and the reason I deducted a star. is that it doesn't come with any printed text - not even a list of the mantras written out, which I felt was important to make sure I'm saying them correctly; I found this particularly difficult when it was a very long mantra. I would have even bought a book to accompany the cd if there was one available.

Knowledgable introduction
This is an excellent brief introduction to mantras. I'm not sure the information couldn't be found elsewhere for free, but the presenter puts it together with knowledge, and, at least in my limited view as an interested layman, he sounds very wise and experienced. A bit pricey, but worthwhile.
