As usual, a great knife, well built, top of the line
I have several Victorinox SAK for various purposes. This one is a EDC for 'non-work' days. It's big enough to be useful - the scissors are the best on any pocket carry knife/tool IMHO. The tools are sturdy and useful, well designed. They can be a bit hard to open - recommend using some oil when you get yours. The hardest is the 'parcel hook' - I'm lazy to I use the tweezers when I need to open that, which is not often (but I really like having the tool when I need it). The lifetime warranty is great, I've sent some SAKs back and had them come back in almost new condition. Hard to find this kind of service and quality in other brands, even the American ones.

My favorite EDC tool!
I use this about every single day for one reason or another. Knives likely get the most use as you could expect but the variety of tools in this one really cover all I need in my day to day life. Th scissors are super handy to have and work great. And of course the bottle opener and corker when the days over.Never leave the house without it. Great purchase

Perfect daily use pocketknife.
This was a replacement for a knife I have used for everyday use for 10+ years. Used both for work needs and home and garden needs, it has served me well.I am sure the new knife will serve me well also. Excellent quality and workmanship. The red color was exactly the same as older knife that I liked.

Convenient & Handy
I don't have any trouble opening a bag or box when I need to, with this knife plus. Stays in my hip pocket & has come in handy so many times. Sure glad I got it!

Swiss army knives are the best.
The climber is one of the best selling SAKs for a reason. Small enough for EDC. Black scales are a nice change from the standard red. Perfect model for general use.

Original item, good quality
Good quality, delivery a little slower than expected, but worth it. It is as good as expected. not a thick as a 4 layer, and durable. perfect for EDC.

Pretty good
The tool line-up is very useful. I do not miss the #2 Phillips screwdriver, lots of people complain about that not being there. The tip of the can opener works for Phillips screws as long as they're not super tight. If it's that tight, you need real tools anyway. The corkscrew is useful for more than just opening wine bottles too. Very good at loosening up tight knots. All of the tools on mine are easy to open and close. Including the hook, which many people seem to have trouble with. This knife has the hole for the pin (pin - a needle, not a pen) near the corkscrew, but does not come with a pin.The scissors are very sharp, very nice to use, and IMO some of the best multi-tool scissors out there. The blades were reasonably sharp, though they did have a small burr which required a couple passes on the stone to remove. It didn't take much, and it's razor sharp now - but I did deduct a star because I had to hone it right out of the box.The flathead screwdriver/bottle opener "locks" into place at the 90 degree position and the in-line position. Good for getting more torque on tight screws. The bottle opener isn't the best I've used, but it's not the worst either. It does work, just not in one smooth motion. The can opener is great. Among the best I've seen on pocket knives/multitools.The sewing awl took a couple passes on the stone to clean up too, but it's fine now.Overall, it's a great tool. Just not "perfect" right out of the box. It's a good size for pocket carry. You wouldn't really want to go much larger than this. Tool set is useful, and there's nothing missing, IMO. If I had to come up with something that was missing - a file would be the one thing I would add or incorporate into some other tool.

Best Overall Swiss Army Knife!
I did a lot of research into the different types of Swiss Army knives to see which one I would use the most. I originally bought the Pioneer Alox Silver knife because I liked that its the same model that the actual Swiss Army soldiers used from the 60's up till now. This knife is almost exactly the same as the Spartan in terms of size. It's big and has two slots with tools. The Pioneer comes with a large blade, can opener with screwdriver, bottle opener with screw driver and sharp pointed edge for poking holes.I was pleased with the knife since it looks classy but I wanted something that was more useful for everyday use. I like the Spartan because its identical to the original Swiss knife, but I wanted to look further. I stumbled onto so many different models for a variety of uses. Tools such as the wood saw, pliers, magnifying glass for instance I found that I don't use everyday. Plus I found that its better to use other more sturdier tools than a knife if you want to use pliers. The more tools make these knives too bulky and not ideal for carrying everywhere.I wanted something simple, yet eclectic. I have a minichamp, which is great because it has tools like scissors, an orange peeler and a pen. But I found that I use scissors a lot. Finally, I noticed the Climber and after much comparison, I decided its the best one for ME. Why? Because its not too bulky first off. It only has 3 slots for tools, making it slightly thicker than the Spartan but not as bulky as the Explorer. It has scissors which are perfect in size. It's essentially like the Spartan but with the added scissors and parcel carrier(which I find to be useless for most cases). And honestly this is all you need unless you need to cut wood or watch insects from up close with a magnifying glass. This is perfect for the urban gentleman. Some would prefer the Tinker because they find the separate philips screwdriver more useful than the corkscrew. Well fear not because the can opener, which comes on almost all swiss knives, has a screwdriver at the tip that's perfect for even the smallest Philips heads. The the extra room for a large philips screwdriver is useless because you already have a tool for that. Plus the corkscrew is useful in party type situations. So pick this over the Tinker. For those who want something more compact, try out the Compact model. This knife has only two slots but has almost everything including scissors. However, this knife consolidates the can opener and bottle opener. The catch? The tool is very thin and the tip isn't good for Philips screws, only good for flat heads. Also, there is no small blade. For those who don't care for the corkscrew or scissors, get the Pioneer. Why? Because its essentially the same model used by Swiss soldiers and it looks classy. Additionally, the large blade is much bigger than the large blade of regular swiss knives. But I recommend the Climber 100%. You even have more color options to choose from with this model. I would go with the classic red, that way everyone knows you're holding an awesome Swiss Army Knife. Happy shopping!
