Love this and so does my little one. Great you can also use this without the pad and touch colours around you to match key notes. You can also register new colours for new keys. You can also use the app and press the keys on the screen rather than using the ring. Great price on offer.

This was a little bit fiddly to pair with my Android phone, but it paired with my son's iPhone instantly and we've had hours of fun with it. Downloaded loads of the free sample libraries and my 12-year-old was creating professional-sounding tracks from random objects around the house within minutes.

I have purchased three of these. The first has faults and intermittent power issues which I didn't know about when I bought the second one, which wouldn't charge. The replacement for that one would only work when charging and then cut out mid-play. I don't know if these are true Specdrums products, but they are not worth ruining a kid's gift over.

Brought for my 10 year old who loves drumming and music in general. Works great and very clever but feel a bit gimmicky and he has lost interest after a few weeks.

Product doesn't even work , ring won't connect of charger , emailed company and they warned me about buying of sellers on amazon. Daughter Is so disappointed. Don't waste your money and buy of a legitimate company.

Sent item back as xoesnt warrent the cost as the ring you get works with an app but you can use the app without the ring. You sync the ring to your device and the sound is throu that. So the ring is kind of pointless.

These rings seems to be faulty. They would not stay on and maintain charge or connection unless plugged into a charger. As soon as you took it off the charger it died and disconnected from the iPad so couldn’t be used as intended. Had to return them as there is also no helpful online info about whether anything can be done to resolve the issue.

I honestly was pleasantly surprised by this little pad. The sound kits you can download through the Specdrums app are actually quite good, and true to advertising you can use the ring on other household items of the same colors found on the pad which makes for a fun experience for the kids. My only complaint is the battery for the ring is really bad. We get out it like 15 minutes of playing time when it’s been fully charged and even less if it’s not fully charged which I found a bit disappointing. But other than that it was a fun and pleasant experience!
