The Schlage Latitude Lever products were easy to install and no product directions (instructions are provided) needed. After installing, the elegant look is very appealing. I purchased 3 different types for my household. Lifetime manufacturer warranty came with the purchase.F10 LAT619 lever style door handle does not have the locking device. This is for rooms that do not require locks (closet, laundry, and hallways doors).F170 LAT 619 is a dummy non-turning lever door handle. This is for doors like Dutch closets. As indicated it is a decorative style handle. Only used to pull open and close the door. You may need to used the provided template to start the screw hole. I recommend using a leveler.F40 LAT 619 is a lever style door handle with the locking device. This is for rooms that requires a lock (Bath and bedrooms). Each comes with the key. This key is not like the older style key (like the old Spam can opener).The prices at Amazon were cheaper than the prices at your home improvement and retail stores. I purchased more than 5 and the savings were worth the Prime shipping.Please note if you are accustomed to hanging things on your door handles, this is not for you. You can hang items, but they will slide off.I recommend moving from a knob style handle handle to a lever handle. It is much easier to open doors.

It was easy to install, has nice lines. My dog has not figured out how to open it! During my remodel I changed all door handles in the whole house.

We ordered Keyed lever from amazon.com.For the design matter, the keyed lever has "L-shape" lever bar with its short bar attached to the key cylinder, which is rather pleasant, but, unlike the other passage, dummy, privacy levers which don't come with this extra detail, hence, less handsome, just simpler.Initially, we were pleased to see the nice expensive look of it. but, once we installed it to one of our doors, we instantly noticed the lever is sagging 3-5 degree south. And, wobbly up and down before I twist it down to open.The original box was NOT sealed. Just an open brown box, with a white paper that wrapped the levers, levers were not additionally secured from any possible scratch on the road.Schlage Technician said, I shouldn't get this brown package as this will be exclusively used for parts, and replacements in their own customer care warehouse. And, the wobbly, sagging lever is definitely a defect. They offered to replace it, but, I insisted we would return this to Amazon.com.With the unsealed brown box package, it will be surely good to open and inspect and return the lever, if you don't like. But, if you intend to keep the item, this will raise a question to anyone whether they have received a refurbished item.We are returning this, but definitely will get new ones.

this door lever works perfectly for our bedroom. it looks great and is a huge visual upgrade over the brass we had previously. the only reason i am giving it 4 instead of 5 is that locking it can be sticky/stuck ever once in a while

Nice looking. Quality of door locks in general has declined over the last 20 years. They all feel a little loose and sloppy now compared to when I used to sell them 20 years ago.

Will neve buy a different brand! The smoothness, the easy of installation, the quality and the mother looking straight line is second to none. And all this at a very compatible price. I will buy again this product and from the same vendor.

Great product and great price

This handle was easy to install, and has worked well in an outdoor location that gets covered with snow and ice at times. It is much easier to use than the round handle it replaced.
