Lo-Tech - Hi Performance. Keeps Bong & Bubbler Water Clean.
I remember dirty bong & bubbler water from the old days. I saw this and thought, for the price I couldn't lose.I was surprised at how well this Smokin Screw worked. No little bits of herb fell through the bowl into the water.Nothing fell through, not even ash.And it makes Clean-Up easy. Lift it out of the bowl and flick it with a finger, or pull on the nipple and let it go to release all the ash. Then it's all set to use again, and again, and again. It may seem expensive, but for how well it works it's a very good deal. With time I'm sure I'll get better at shaping it for first use.

This is my new favorite smoke accessory and the best screen!
I was skeptical but tried one and really liked it. I may be unusual in that I medicate myself nightly and I have difficulty inhaling much so I love the fact that I can put enough for my small lung capacity. It makes it simple to clean the ash. I’ve only used it for two days but I normally used a bong bowl that had a honeycomb glass filter. It was nice but required cleaning about every few days. The bowl’s handle broke and I couldn’t find that style bowl on Amazon so I tried a regular bowl again. I have tried dozens of screens both glass and metal. I even used stainless and titanium discs. They all required you to clean them. I expect to need to clean this as well but the handle it has makes it easy and the spring design is perfect for clearing ash and residue. If it needs dejunking I imagine a soak in alcohol will do the trick. So far, all I have needed to do it lift the screen with the ash in it. Then tap it lightly on the ashtray. If stuff is stuck a gentle pull expands the spring and everything falls. With regular screens I would often lose the screen in with ash. Or they were so small I just lost them. With some of them costing $2 a piece, that meant looking through the ash which is no fun. I am ordering two more now so I can alternate if they get clogged.

Kind of small
It fits and all but it is kind of small. The instructions help for a good fit but nothing on actually cleaning it or different configurations. Is is ok to bend parts, how far is too far, will it break...

Works great
Works surprisingly well, you get really good airflow in the bowl for a solid burn. Pulls very smooth. If you have a pointed ashtray like a debowler, you can just stretch it out on the the point and it empties itself. Really convenient.Pretty durable too. The instructions recommend "strumming" it out to fit your bowl and bending the long end at an angle so it sits at the right depth. All I'll say is this metal does not bend easy, and it maintains it's springiness well. With some occasional in a resin cleaner, I don't see myself buying another screen for a long time.

FIRE HAZZARD!
Oh wow. Love the idea. However, to get this to fit, you have to fuss with it, it's basically a spring. The little bottom. Part sits right in the intake hole so it needs to be held up higher, which i could only do manually.Which is hard because I only have 2 hands and needed 3.Anyway, careful if you use it. If you happen to touch it, you could make the spring pop your cherry out and it could go on your carpet. Or your couch. Or your hand. Or your shirt.I'm tossing mine. I can't risk burning my home down just to have my bong a little cleaner.Seriously. Ruined 2 shirts, a rug, and a blanket.

Kinda weird to use...
They don't fit quite like I'd want. And they dont bend as easy either. Easy clean by flexing or giving spring a quick pull while it will zazing off any debris, it will sproing it all over. Def a learning curve going on here. I was curious before about theses. Not so much now... They didnt allow scooby snax to surprise me, good thing. They didnt get too hot too touch, maybe because i dinna try to do so when hot. Stoned not stupid. Lol. They do work better with a 2/3 pack not a full bowl. They dislodge easy, but too big to lose easy among ashes. Be sure to put the long extension part opposite the side you use to light, yeah I popped a bowl right outta there... Be careful, and beware. I think once I work out the weirdness n kinks out they'll be groovy.

Best Screen I've used!
This is screen is easy to setup, gently featuer the coiled wire while holding about 1/8" on the bottom cone. Do that about 15 times to shape the cone to your bowl. If it takes longer no worries just keep feathering don't get to aggressive with it or you could possibly over stretch it but mine came back to its springy state even after pulling on it a bit to stretch between the coils so just use common sense with it. Once the bowl is set up, I left handle stick straight up for an easy grab. The directions recommended bending it over the edge of the bowl like a frying pan handle but I find the original position of the handle works for me. It provides for a very easy draw, I've used ceramic screens, flower screens even built in screens I've had pull throughs with all of them I've also had clogs with them on other bowls. With this screen I have not had either! Only the finest of the flower gets in the water and no pull through at all. Grab the handle and dump the ash. It's that simple. It's a great screen and i will get more if and when i need new screens. Even returned the order of glass flower screens I ordered at the same time.

Best screen I’ve found for my bong so far!
I can’t stand for my bong to be dirty. And nothing’s worse than dirty bong water. This is perfect for my bong. I can see it may be a little harder to use with a bowl. I’ve tried the brass & stainless steel mesh ones & I blaze through 1 every other day, not to mention all the build up. I’ve also tried the little glass star shaped ones. They waste a lot also. And I would use tweezers to pull the screens out so my hands weren’t gross. Now this is easy to knock out accidentally, probably because it never gets resined in, which is awesome. I’ve done a few hits & the water is still clear. It’s a bit pricy for what you get, unless it lasts forever, then it’s a great deal. I would order again, best screen so far(for a bong)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
